    Using the bathroom at the same time :roll: - Do you think there should be some mystery between the couple, therefore he/she should conduct their private business behind closed doors :cool: or maybe feel open door policy is not a bad thing :tongue

    Me..... no mysteries for me please shakehead. I think it helps during unfortunate situations like sickness where we need help with our private needs (using bedpan, etc) :kiss

    Depends on the couple. But, really nothing is a 'real mystery' anyway lol!
    the limits vary for each couple - I think it is ok for someone to pee, if the other is in the shower - for example.

    :) need definition of business- shower, session on the throne...

    In childbirth, some mysteries got revealed. And 'forgotten', or there would be no second baby. :)

    For me, handing over a forgotten soap or towel is OK, but business-as-usual happens behind shut/closed door(though often knob is not turned to close).

    I agree that there is nothing real mystery here but I think if the couple want they can maintain an illusion of mystery :mrgreen:

    It was my DH who was more bent towards mystery than me. I didn't have much problem. :oops: :hide:

    But, sometimes back, there occurred circumstances that he needed my help. That opened his eyes. He realized that there can be no mystery between husband and wife.

    Of course on day to day basis, we close the doors, but keep the knob unturned..

    while I am brushing, I want my privacy. During throne sessions, BOTH prefer mystery.

    While showering I dont care. I never lock the bathroom door, anyways

    i presume this is about taking a shower together, lol! Yes, before kids, we were up for it but now it's more like, 'hey, did you take a shower today? Because, yay! I did'...
    About other bodily functions, my husband has seen me puking my guts out (horrible morning sickness in my pregnancies), he has seen me pop out his babies (and all the blood that comes with it). But I always hold the oval office by myself whereas he doesnt care. And we are perfectly comfortable with our boundaries so this system works just fine for us.

    In our case it has got nothing to do with mystery and more to do with privacy. I feel it is gross to pee in front of your husband. I always lock doors when I am inside. he does not do that. to each his own.
