The "sweet8"" would be given mango lassi first and friend dry ginger-green tea (I have kept mango crush in small parcel containers in freezer for quick lassi) Nuts and dry -fruits uthappam for sweet8 Oats in spicy butter milk for the oldie And I would make a quick chicken kabsa (arabic biriyani), as I have half cooked chicken in freezer. (Alas, time is past 10 min but not more than 15 min, but I hope they r not bothered abt)

Wow!! big list !!! 6teenpearls !!! yes, kichdi is always a life saver too and if you have chopped vegetables - add them in the cooker too and 5 minutes, the cooker whistle will go "shshhshsh" Best to use 2 or 3 liter cooker for superfast kichdi

Peanut Tomato Salad....Its easy....and i think you too know it. Peanuts - fried Tomatoes - finely chopped Onion - finely chopped Spinach - finely chopped Coriander - finely chopped Carrot- grated Lemon juice per your taste (optional) Mix all and sprinkle chat masala, chilli powder, and salt per your taste. Can also add boiled black chana if available.
