I had forgotten about the yummy pepper jeera rice that my mom used to make thanx for reminding me!!! How do you make Eggless French Toast??? Vegetarians like me would definitely appreciate it
I came home at 6:30 pm from music class, and updating indusladies and thinking beans fry + rasam+rice for dinner tonite, my son walks up to me and says - amma no rice today, i want something special.... and no upma also and I already had chapati for lunch box!!! Any other day, I would have dismissed him, but with such a thread going on, well... I opened my fridge and checked once again!!! I had picked fresh palak leaves inside, just washed some, put them in the chopper with peeled ginger and green chillis , in the meantime I ask son to get two onions, he peels it for me !! Wow, he has never done that before !!! I add onions too in the chopper! There is grated cucumber and carrots - add this and the above chopped mix to left over 2-3 cups dosa mavu - add salt... it has become watery due to grated cucumber - so add some idli rava to the mix!!! I have roasted peanuts in the pantry - add salt, ginger, green chilli and run the mixie So a "no name - mix - palak-cucumber-carrot-onion dosa" + peanut chutney was our dinner - hardly took 20 minutes to prepare, without counting making the dosas !!! That was of course served hot-hot !!! With large glass of buttermilk !!! So thanx to this thread, my son escaped rice or upma tonite!!!
LOL LOL !!! Why Anita ??? BTW, Actually my son is 8 years old, thats why I mentioned 8 in the original post
