This freaking fast and costly life

What belated???? Mine is yet to come.... Trying to make feel old eh? :rant

 

Good thought. But the rising cost of things make us afraid. I always think about this, but if i think about future i end up thinking that this way of life is apt as of now.

 

Ok ok ok forgiven.

Here is my birthday gift for you.

 

Life is still relaxingly slow and cheaper to live in the rural parts of this country.

The question is, how many of us are ready to slow down?

 

A very and most important aspect of life touched upon with humor and lightness and still you have raised the points that should really matter to each one of us.
It really is getting so crazy ... agree with your choice of title .. very apt.
I strongly feel that each one of us has to determine the answers to these questions and find the pace where we find peace.

it is a nice piece of write up.
we all miss all those goodies you mentioned.However it is a team work in our society how far we want to have those perks back in our life.

 

You are very right Smriti. Something is terribly screwed up with our society, our value systems and the way our lifestyles are going.

 

Very true. How many of us are really prepared to slow down? In USA I have seen....on week days everyone is busy anyway but on weekends also they don't like to sit, chat and do things together. No, they are out of the house whole day...roads jammed with cars.

 

Things which were deemed luxuries have now become necessities. People are lured by ads and want to possess the newest and latest gadgets. They do not realize that they are losing the real happiness and chasing material things.
