    Dear Cheeniya Sir,

    Yes Serendipity is also something unfortunate leading to fortunate end . Her unfortunate connection is unfortunate but fortunately she decided to leave him and move on in life . That is Serendipity here. And it applies to the first of your definition. She looked for a good hubby and found freedom which she found more luring than her husband himself.
