    Hi Ladies
    I have one query.....does Beta hCG result after 11 day of 3 day transfer are confirmed ? bcoz my doctor always repeat test even if beta hcg comes below 10 (which mean not preg) .....since beta test is bit costly i don't want to undergo it again if beta less than 10 .....is it right decision. ....my beta test is on 3rd nov.

    Hi Swathi,

    At our hospital they repeat Beta HCG test only if the test comes positive. Otherwise, they just ask us to wait until period comes and then schedule the next cycle. So the second test is unnecessary in that case.

    Hi Swati,

    sincerely wish u get positive result this time, u r right there is no point going for another beta HCG with <10. At times the count will be above 20 or 50 on 11th day post transfer. then u can rely on the results and go for another beta test. Beta test after 15-20 days are more accurate, just wait for few more days, talk to ur doc that u want to wait for couple of more days or ask if u can test HPT and subsequently go for beta test.

    Stop bothering yourself. One or two doesn't matter, success of it is important. stop worrying & focus on the good side. Sometimes doctor's decision must be good. Just relax & take care of yourself now! All the bet to your 2WW!

    Whether those injections are for progesterone or other? Hope your dh finds the right spot & inject it each day! Hope all will go well in the end. Relax dear, things will go right this time!
    Why do they need to do the beta on 11th day post et? beta hcg after 14th day after transfer is reliable than those early. But if your doc suggests to take, just go ahead & don't bother about the result now. It will be fine!

    Hi Sarayu,
    In many crowded IVF centers thats what happens. Clubbing many people for each days egg retrieval & transfer & messing out with the success rate! No one has same response to different medicines & its a very tough job to bring all people together on the same day & do these procedures as machine job. Can't help it. It became a ugly habit in many places! :-(

    I am not sure on what you would need in India from UK.
    Ya, you can aim at weight reduction if you are on the higher side, else eat healthy & spend your time peacefully. Healthy mind & body will bring more success! All the best!

    please share...i m so happy for u.

    i wil repeat test only if beta is above 10 but i m lossing hope as i dont have any symptoms yet...i m perfectly normal and light....no sign of progestrone also ,no weakness nothing.

    injections are to increase blood flow ,its called heparin.

    HI Swati,
    Heparin? I hate it. I had a saline drips for that in my frozen cycle to improve the chances & it triggered my skin sensitivity more. I turned out heparin allergitic! :-( Took and taking tablets for that now & then! This is not to scare you. I already had the trouble hidden and with that saline, it revealed! Thats it. If that cycle would have turned positive, i wouldn't have bothered about that trouble at all & happily taken the tablets to control it! We take things differently based on the end rest. Stupid us! ;-)

    Ya, Sudha delivered few week before through C-section. I trust baby & mother has copped up with things! I am watching many of the old ttc ladies update in due date club! ;-)

    yah,i too having allergy of injections...my legs part has become dry and rashed.....
    yes if we get positive then we forget all pain.

    m having dailly 1 injection. till my first beta.
