    quote=vaidehi;243685]Hi Devika,

Hey buddy, I am from Dombivli too. i have spend nearly 20 years of life in that city. Good to see someone comming with so unique ideas and keep this forums alive.

Though i am not that romantic, and cannot express vocally though. but i like music very much, i love to hear all genres of music.

    My choice would be :-

    1. Yes boss - Ek din aap yuhin mil jayenge.

    2. Gentleman - (tamil) En vittu thotathil poo ellam ket par sung by sreenivas.

3.Titanic :- My Heart will go on.

Right now this is what comes to my mind, i will recollect and keep posting.

    Cheers
    Vaidehi[/quote]

    Dear Devika,

Flashback...As usual I'm very expressive...He is a man of less words....But, whenever he expresses...Makes it sufficient for decades together...I want to dedicate both of our favourites to him...

My husband is a lover of lyrics.....It doesn't matter for him whether it is a melody or anytoher...He loves Vairamuthu's writings.....So am I....He would describe those lines in such a way the people who listens to it will be definitely addicted.

    1. Anything by Vairamuthu, some by Vaali and now Na. MuthuKumar....especially

Mottu ondru malarndhida thudikkum - Kushi
Kadhal vandhadhum kanniyin ullam - Poovellam un Vasam
50 Kg Taj Mahal - Genes
Mudhar kanave mudhar kanave - Majnu
    Balle lakka - Sivaji

    Hello - Lionel Ritchie

    2. My choices are always melodies.

Mazhaiyum neeye veyilum neeya (as the waiting before marriage was too difficult) - Azhagan
En mel vizhundha mazhai Thuliye - May Madham
    Vaseegara - Minnale
Mun paniya mudhal mazhaiya - Nandha
    Nenjynile nenjinile - Uyire

Pehla pehla pyar hai - HAHK
Main shayar tho nahin - Bobby(what a glamourous Dimple!!!!!!!!)
So gaya yeh jahan - Tezaab
Akele hain to kya gham hai - QSQT

Oh, dear! Let me stop.....Thank you for opening this topic up....So romantic....

    Love,
    Oviya.

    dear devika,
when i was carrying my first child my husband and me both used to sing a song from devanand movie, tere mere sapne, from that
    jeevan ki bagiya mehakegi...
    kushiyon kaliyan jhoomengi ...
woh mera hoga woh sapna thera hoga miljul ke maanga woh mera hoga
thoda hamara thoda thumhara ayega milkey bachpan hamara...

    the next one is
tere bina zindagi se koyi shikwa tho nahi
    shikwa nahi........from aandhi
i used to cry a lot now am over it, but yes this thread invoked those moments again..sunkan

    Hi Sunkan,

Thanx for your contribution of songs!!. Very melodious numbers. Infact I absolutely love the song from Aandhi. Another similar romantic song which is a fav of newly married couples is:
    Jhimil Sitaron Ka Aangan Hoga,
    Rhimjim Barastha Saawan hoga,
aisa Sunder Sapna Apna Jeevan Hoga,

    Croaking at the moment,

    Devika

    Hi Anu ,

Thanks for writing in with your fave numbers. Though I havent heard these songs due to liguistic handicap I'm sure all those who have heard it must be in agreement with you.I willl def try to request for the songs from the library and listen to them . But yes I have heard the songs of the Tamil film Boys and have loved all the wacky numbers.

    Hi Devika,

Your title made me very curious, I was smiling when I read your post...a fantastic one...it reminds one of beautiful memories...My hubby sang this song from a vijay and simran movie whose name i cannot recall it went like this "yennavo yennavo yen vasam naan illai" he said it the day he told me those precious three words, which is etched and cherished forever.
The day he said it my heart sang with joy i was smiling a mile wide and singing this song from the film ghar "aaj kal pav zameen par nahin padthe mere"

thanks all of you for sharing your memory with me....

    warm wishes,

    aqua.
