    Hi Friends,

We love our husbands and are very vocal about it....;-).Very often we hear some songs and are reminded of those loving times we shared, some songs remind you of that secret , some songs were probably sung while proposing. Ohh... how romantic!! Some remind you fo your first fight oh... how cute!! and patch up fun :bowdown Some remind you of your first dance together Opps ... some dance ,phew you must've been exhaused .I wish to have this opportunity to dedicate a few songs to my hubby . I would like to invite all you romantics :kiss to dedicate their favourite romantic song here for you dearest hubby .You may dedicate any number of songs..
This is also an opportunity for us to show that we are not HUBBIES HOWLERS !!

I wish to dedicate these two songs:

    1. Hidi Film Song: from the film Jurm:
    Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye,
    Jab Koi Mushkil PAd Jaaye
Tum Dena Saat Mera O Saathiya

    2.English by Sting:
    Every Breath you take ,
    Every move you make
    Every bond you break
    Every step you take
    I'l be watching you.

    Love you Shashi!!

    Nostalgic,

    Devika

Iam not a die hard romantic , rather not very vocal about it. But dedicating songs is a super cool idea!!! There are songs that i remember from the first time I saw him though all mostly tamil movies .

    So here goes::
Tujhe dekha to yeh Jana sanam- Our fav. from DDLJ
    Kuch Kuch- KKHH
Lot many old tamil numbers that are loaded with meaning. The song keeps changign though.

    Wow Devika, lovely thread.

It seems our choices match...the jurm song is my favourite and the other is my husband's favourite.

I also like the song from Andhi...

    Tum aa gaye ho
    noor aa gaya hain

And another of our favourite song when we are away from each other is

    I just called to say....

    Warm regards
    Roopa.

    hi,

This thread took me back to our courting days.Im a die hard romantic and on the contrary my DH is so-so not very good at expressing himself :idea

One song which comes to my mind which i used to write often in the cards which i gave him is the famous kishore kumar one -

hamein tumse pyar kitna yeh hum nahin jaante
magar jee nahin sakte tumhare bina!!!

On a rare occasion, he had sung this for me

    saagar kinare dil yeh pukarein
tu jo nahin tho mera koi nahi hai

Very possessive abt my DH even after a decade of marriage.
Thanks to Devika for taking me back in time.

    Dear Devika,

    What a lovely idea !

This romantic bug doing the rounds is doing a great service for all I'm sure.....

enabling us to walk down memory lane for those of us who've been smothered

into forgetfulness by the blanket of time!!

OK ,here are two of our favourites...real oldies !! ( We are too!)

    1) Jalthey hain jiske liye

    Teri ankhon ke diye

    Doond laya hoon wohi,

Geet mein tere liye...... ...sung by Talat Mehmood.

    2) English "I just called to say Hello" .... Stevie Wonder

Thanks for reminding us never to forget memorable musical moments!Bow

    Regards,

    PAULINA:wave
