    Does anyone know?
there are quite a number of them...
some of my favourites are R.K Narayan and Rabindranath Tagore.
and a couple of new authors that i enjoy reading their books are Tanuja Desai Hidiei - Born Confused
    and
    Narindher Dhami - Bindi Babes

it is interesting to read of stories that are set in western countries and they incorporate our indian culture to it....born confused is a must read....

    anyone care to comment....???
    cheers to all....

    Hi,
Sudha Murthy's books which I have read are..
How I taught my grandmother to read & other stories
    Wise & otherwise
besides..Dollar Bahu (which I have not read)

I picked these books becoz whatever I read abt this lady makes me want to know more abt her life & thought process..I personally do not read stuff for their popularity(author or book)
    Bye & happy reading:coffee
