Perfect pair of Jeans

    Hi,
    I am always in a big Dilemma as to how to pick the right pair of jeans.. What is denim> I Always thought the Jean material is called denim. Please clarify.
    Also in case this discussion is already ongoing then please lead me there, :coffee

    I badly need a atleast 2-3 good pair of branded Jeans however I am unable to decided the right one for me. and I am desperately looking for Ankle length one.. everyone on earth seem to be wearing it butwhen I ask the shop keeper he says he does not know about it.. !!!

    You are right the jeans material is called denim.and also there are varieties which includes 100% cotton,spandex mix and other mix.If you want ankle length jeans you go for skinny fit jeans.Some time it will be little bit loose,then you can give it for alteration.If you are buying from a branded showroom they have alteration facilities in there shops itself.Levies,lee,pepe jeans,Guss,these are some brands in India.

    The Fabric of Jeans is called DENIM. You may try LEVI's who have 3 types of ladies jeans suitable for curvy, bulky and skinny. You may try out. Also try GIORDANO jeans for ladies, their fitting is awesome and great designs and good quality. They have skinny, bootcut, straight, stretch etc. Give a try also at Globus. They have good collection. I heard Indian brand JEALOUS also is good.

    But always try out at the trial room first and if you are comfortable only, go ahead.

    You can try Levi's,Guess,Voir and any other reputable brand.They have wide range of collections and choices.For the latest trend,You can do some homework by searching online or fashion magazine.You can cut out the picture of the jeans or print out and request for the same when you are in your purchasing spree.

    Now I know cargo pants... What is cargo jeans?

    Also is codroy ( in case I am spelling it right) a formal wear??
    I love to wear off white ( beige color ) cotton trousers to office is it formal wear??

    Hi Sincybft,

    Thanks for your suggestion.. I will next time ask for skinny fit so that they may provide me an ankle length ones.. They look so smart actually. What is Spandex.. ? Also now there is something called Jeggings.. I some how dint like it but it looked good when I saw one lady walk by wearing it.. Not sure if it will suit me. I somehow dont like this legging idea itself... one has to buy appropriate leggings ( from good store - thick one) else it looks horrible.

    Thanks for your response.Yes jeolous is indeed a good brand.. I want to share some experience. A couple of weeks ago I went to a mall to pick Jeans I went to Levis show room and they had some in house called Denizen. I tried it out.. it fitted well.. then I remembered a friend of mine who had suggested while shopping a jean wear it sit inside the trial room and see how well it fits your hip and if you are comfortable. I found this jean fit me perfectly well. then I saw the way it was hugging my hips ( kind or a wrap) felt very comfy and picked it ( I payed almost 2k).. Next when I came home and had to wear it when I was going out ( perhaps a week later) I felt it to be loose!! Felt soo bad.
    Also I want to know one more thing. Is belt an accessory or is it to hold loose pants!! as I prefer to use it as a accessory however in this case its more to hold my pants :(
