I whted 2 write GRE/TOFEL still i have not yet register & also had no coaching till now.even though i whted 2 write GRE i couldnt go b4 feb 2009.im not defnt 2 do MS,but just whted 2 prepare so tht may useful in future.I heard tht after writing immediatly we have 2 give coll names.But i just whted 2 write..as by hubby was there..he went in f1 visa.so ...if possible may useful in future.if i write now GRE/TOFEL should i select coll now itself...till how many days will it b valid(GRE/TOFEL SCORE). CAN ANY 1 TELL WHT R THE OPTIONS::TO GO TO US IN DEPENDING..CAN WE MAKE H1 HERE ITSELF.IF WE MAKE H1 SHOULD WE DO JOB COMPLUSORY...
Sanju Dear, Start preparing. Around 2 months will be required. Read a lot to improve your skills for these exams, maybe a book a week. As for college names, you can give them here. Try researching college names on the web, which you might join. If not you can always order test scores as and when you want. Costs 10$ roughly for GRE and TOEFL each I suppose. You will be saving this, if u give college names right after the test. TOEFL is valid for 2 yrs. GRE is valid for 5 years. You can take them anywhere you wish, US or India. As for H1, it costs you money. Again you can try it in either place, but make sure you apply before April. Applications get filled before that. So try to make it fast. But if you want to study, you may not need H1. Write back if u have specific doubrs. try not to use short forms, because it gets difficult to read and reply. Thanku very much meenloch So we can select coll name when ever we wht...but my doubt is if i go with student visa...then i should select college names before itself r after going to US i can select.One more doubt i have regarding H1 visa..how to apply for H1 VISA from india,if i get H1 visa should i compulsory work after going to US.
