That was a hilarious writeup....i can imagine the scene you have described -----:spin

I guess we women get all emotional and let all Hell loose ....porr cockroach....i wonder what curse from which munivar it has on its head that its species has been living so long putting up with th elikes of us Atilla or Phoolan or Mahishasura mardini!
But all said and done it did give a malicious sense of pleasure to kill a Cockroach in one Definite Stroke......brings in one a sense of victory...na .....but thank god i dont get to encounter this innocent deadly looking creature....ha ha
( just was reminded of my biology dissection class, where my professor, who was an ex militrary person had a deadlier looking moustache and would holler at us when we tried to lift the cockroach with foreceps for dissection...he wanted us to give the RESPECT that insect deserved..... on top of was my Iyer friend who would curse that we had to touch all these things by hand on A FRIDAY morning.....couln't help laughing when i thought of those golden cockroach filled days!) ha ha Big Laugh

 

Actually i am yet to face any insect....i guess it is too cold for humans, so how can a cockroach survive....also i hve heard that these people secure their drainage or whatever with insect repellents, so nothing comes in etc etc...

Well who do u think gets to be at the end of MURDEROUS RAGE......Rant......only he seems how to know how to duck and escape better than a Cockroach and i start all over again.....
And not to mention all the Cultural, aatma based threads and Lovable Valentine posts.....can there be any more murderous intent left at in me i wonder! :hideso a clean escape for my Cockroach and i just have to turn to Meditation maybe!

By the way it was zoologyclass in PUC....that is the 12th stad now....we have to go to pre university college in Bangalore ...thats where it happened and that ended my dreams of entering MBBS even if i could core good marks.....no dissection please( can u believe it i did see the heart beat of a frog also....yuck..well what to do all for the scores and marks!)

Yet again a topic with interesting and captivating Bow narration which makes it a pleasure to read and reply. And the feedbacks are as always value adding to the lead post interlaced as they are with humour. Initially i too was none the worse and used to jump and hop (read because not as heavy back then) at the sight of any crawling pavam creature. My father and fatherinlaw have been kind in responding the damsel and taking care (read killing) of said creature. but hubby being the practical person he is did not get it why someone would raise a hue and cry over a harmless and innocent creature. Maybe he thought the creature would be justified raising a cry at the sight of me is a subject for my blog ofcourse.. so necessity being the mother of invention i quickly learned to deal with it myself. Needless to say dh taught me a valuable lesson in not being afraid of fear in hiw own way. Now I can deal with all crawling wonders of the world and gardening as much as i do I have to get used to crawling worms and such.

My father is taking up that job in our house,in Chennai, of course, whatever comes to his hand.
My daughter is becoming fearless against this creature, when she is on a vacation to Chennai last summer.
My other daughter doesn't eat dates, because it resembles them.

About me...i don't want to kill them but still :spin when I spot them.
