May be you see only certain things (like the ones you have listed above) as a hobby.
Hobby is something that you do in your leisure for your pleasure.
See it the other way: 'anything' you do in your leisure for your pleasure can be your hobby.

Forget about your leisure time.
Let us only think of the things that make you happy while you do it.
What are they? List your likings.
Together we can tweak a hobby out of it for you!

Doesn't matter whether the things you like doing it are not done during your leisure.
Doesn't matter whether the things you like doing it are part of your duty or responsibility.
Just list them if you like doing them. Your hobby can be hiding there in disguise! :thumbsup

 

I thought no one will say UFO.i like reading about our human origin and aliens,why do we have religion,who are those gods etc., like to read a lot.

I want to pursue my interest in interior design.and love watching movies except horror types.browsing net.travelling to different place and experience their life style.
Thanks freddycat for mentioning aliens.my dh thinks aliens subject or reading our human origin is absolute crap.

 

Gardening is a best hobby anyone can pursue. You dont know acres of land to do gardening you can start it on your own kitchen balcony with pots. This can give you immense happiness and satisfaction as well.

In school. we always had "My Hobby" as a subject for essay-writing. And we would have lots to think and write about. But I guess those days were different when time was never a shortage.

After marriage, am sure we married ladies are always looking for time!

Before marriage, I enjoyed reading, hand-embroidery, music and experimenting in the kitchen.

But these days, the activities that put my mind to ease are reading and listening to music on those lazy days. I love cooking so I always like to try a new recipe when there is not much of routine cooking to do.

My DH and I have visited many places, so I have cultivated a new hobby. I collect match-boxes from different hotels in the places we travelled either for a holiday or just like that. These days, those who know this hobby of mine, they add more to my collection!

 

I work from home, it gives me immense satisfaction as I am also making some money, I read lot of books, I love cooking and try to involve a lot in my DD's school projects ( of late she is not taking my help as she is grown up and does it with the company of her friends). Apart from all this I love gardening, as we have hardly any space except for the concrete portico and balcony's I have filled them with decorative pots , I have done the murals on the pot's myself, have varieties of plants, everyday I spend some time cleaning, removing the weeds and dry leaves, I am so proud to say that my house looks very green and colorful from outside and the entire credit goes to me...

My kid is now 1 n 1/2 ...So when I reach home, after work....we play together after a walk for half an hour or more daily...and me, last month, wrote the CS final Exams....So planning to do...what I did before 3 years...Stiching and planning to try my hand in designing sarees ( Our IL friend Swaran is inspiring n encouraging me to )...Know to play veena., and now lost touch...Your ques made me , to think of about , playing veena again...and always hear melodies...and from next month, I will have One Roja and tulasi plant...planning for it from last month...Hopefully from next month, I will start my gardening at a small level...But one step at a time...So waiting patiently...and first to buy a machine to stich......

All right, I found my buddy. I read and watch every topic, I can find on human origin/evaluation.

The history channel features 'Ancient Alines' series. I have entire collections, nearly 3 years worth.
Very fascinating theory and proofs were found. Even, Indian Epics were referred in some series. It is real or reel, I love watching the shows.

The history's mysteries, Bermuda Triangle, lost world of Atlantis, the list goes on and on. In recent times, 'area 51 found UFOs' but, the Govt is not releasing it to the public (I am a strong believer of that).

In my family too, I get 'that' look but, won't dare to bother me. :rotfl

I love to read, especially self development books. Apart from that, I like to draw, sketch and paint .I learnt about Tanjore painting and kerala mural painting from Indusladies.I just completed 2 kerala mural painting.

I love to read books, write blogs, and recently into crocheting. But like you, I find lots of mundane tasks at home become too demanding that I can't spend time on these. I feel that unless I force myself out of these works, and make some time I will be succumbed into just cooking/cleaning.

Sometimes we don't know that we will develop interest in a particular hobby until we try it. So why can't you try some classes?
