PCOS, having acne & dandruff. pls suggest some remedy to cure

    i m 20 yrs old.. i have PCOS problem...i went to a gyno she confirm it i have pcos prob..at first my periods delayed for 35-40 ..after consulting her she said to reduce 6kg i was 56kg nw i m 53kg..

    i didnt take any pills i want to naturally cure it so lost weight hmm as like other pcos girl i have acne and hair fall problem...

    my doc prescribe me a soap for acne problem now its under control...but i have dandruff she suggest me STIEPROX but whenever i use it dandruff go but it come after 2days..i have hair fall because of this shampoo... i am having dull, dry hair and dandruff.

    my doc said dandruff cant be eradict fully only in control..so i used vendayam (methi) paste n washed dandruff gone but as usual again came after 2days wit reduced please suggest me what to do because of dandruff i get pimples in forehead,

    can anyone help me please friends and sistes thank u

    hi

    I do hav pcos with dandruff problem..i used olive oil to hair since i have curly & rough hair this oil suits me a lot..do exercise reguarly & drink minimum of 2.5lts of water this ll cure both pcos & dandruff probs.

    Regularly oil your hair as well as wash it using a mild shampoo. Excess shampooing will also leave your scalp dry. Try using baby shampoo. Comb well with a clean comb.
    All dandruff shampoo will help only if you use it continously. Once you leave again the problem will re appear. So keep your scalp hydrated.
    Drink sufficient water.
    After shampooing apply mild oil to the scalp (baby oil) which will not be sticky but keep your scalp in good condition.
    The above methods I follow & it is successful for me.

    MIMUR : thanks for ur reply and valuable advice.. u said to use baby oil after hair bath only or the hair oil will be baby oil itself huh ....

    I read in all the threads many suggesting different oils OLIVE ,coconut_almon oil, totally confused ...what oil i should use it ...

    i am currently using sunsilk shampoo.. wen i used methi my danfruff gone ..can i continue to wash my hair with methi and after that baby shamppo or sunsilk.. i am confused Dont know what to use please help me again what shampoo and oil to use permanently

    Coconut oil is good as it gives more noursihment. You can try parachute ayurvedic oil (not hot champi) as it is also good for your scalp. Apply it before bath, take bath with a good shampoo. In the evening when the scalp & hair are completely dry, apply little baby hair oil on the scalp & comb as usual.

    Nizoral, All Clear are other anti-dandruff shampoos that are more effective but after a period of time the dandruff becomes immune to them. Moreover anti-dandruff oil or shampoo they need to be used regularly to prevent further flaking.

    Whatever oil you use, use it on the scalp. Wash your head regularly. After hair wash, when the hair & scalp are dry, apply little oil on scalp & comb gently. Never scratch your scalp as it will result in more flaking. You can gently press massage that area if you feel itching.

    hi madhumitha,

    i dont hav much of pimple problem, i had a very little i use biotique products - honey gel face wash for shampoo i use only herbal like himalaya products since i hav grey hair. if u start drinking 500ml of water in empty stomac & total consumption of water for the whole day shuld be 2.5lts(incl. empty stomach drinking water)then there is a gud change & if u can try drinking fresh pomogrante juice in the morning insted of coffee,tea or milk. this wrks amazing dear...ok take care

    I too faced the same problem... I didnt apply any oil. Was applied white pepper paste and applied methi paste alternative weeks
