    Rangoli and Kolam fill our lives with color and festivities. Are you a Kolam/Rangoli beginner? Would you like some tips to make your Rangoli/Kolam prettier? Do you have some interesting designs that you’d like to share?

    Then, go ahead a start a discussion in the Rangoli / Kolam forum.

    Some do's and don'ts to be followed for this contest:

    DOs:

    • Make your contributions for this contest ONLY in the Rangoli / Kolam forum
    • ONLY new threads started during this month – May 2012 that get popular with maximum responses and participation from other members will be considered.
    • Avoid generic topics and focus on a qualitative and engaging discussions.
    DON'Ts:

    • No posting (copy-pasting) articles or information from other sources (like websites, books, magazines, emails etc.).
    • Please ensure that no hurting others sentiments.

    Hi all,

    Heart of all ladies all over India smiles inside by hearing the so called word 'RANGOLI or KOLAM'.. Especially in Tamilnadu and Kerala, during the festive seasons of PONGAL & ONAM,, kolam or rangoli plays a very special and vital role.. Coming to the main topic hereby with tis reply i've attached a ''POOKOLAM'' done by me in my college during Onam festival in my college. The speciality of this kolam is that it not only indicates the occasion but also it holds some pic's of equipments lik transformers, transmission line, resistors, etc,.. related to my electrical department. Hope some or the other ll make use of it..
