    Hi All,

I have just joined........... Good to see that there are so many of Indians in Malaysia.

My husband has just got a job in Malaysia. We are now planning to move there.

I just want to know how much will be the cost of living there.......... in Penang.

Rent of a house in good locality?
    Transport?
    Food cost (generally) ?

    Thanks,

    Sadia Fatima.

    Hi Sadia,

Life at Penang will be awesome with the scenic view, natural beauty and ofcourse it is more easier to get Indian items at Penang..

Cost in Penang is compared cheaper than in KL.

Food cost is cosidered very cheap, and public transport also. But, many locations cannot be connected through public transport..(It depends on your location..)

Please see the thread Cost in KL , from where you can get a rough idea.. though Penang is cheaper than KL
