hi , when she was born very fair, then day by day became dark complexion . now i would like 2 improve her complexion .plz give me tips homemade remedies .which is best fairness oil and fairness cream for baby ? please suggest me . soon she should become fair ... please give me tips . i m eagerly waiting your reply...

I dont how old is your LO. But at this time the prime importance is for the baby to be healthy. Changes in baby skin color is expected during the initial year. It depends on the genetics of parents.

My grandma used to say that the baby's color can be found out from the color of their ear. If it is on the darker side, then she is going to be in that color range.

Fairness cream for babies! Isnt this taking a little bit too far? The skin would be sensitive during the initial year.

(In fact your question just reminds me of the a debate (Neeya Naana program in Vijay TV). The topic was something like fair girls vs dusky girls. In the end only dusky girls won. It also reminds me of Rajinikanth's dialogue in Sivaji movie!)

Please let your girl be..Do not inculcate this dark complexion complex into her, which will affect her self esteem in the long run. If you yourself feel your daughter needs to be fair, she is going to grow up with this complex. Instead like what Ramya has suggested, focus on her health more. Her complexion is dictated by what is in her genes, Fair and Lovely is not going to do anything to improve it.

You said baby, didnt you? It is waaaaaay too soon to worry about getting her married.. Just kidding. But seriously, she is too young to be a victim of ....what's the word I am looking for....victim of commercial products. Not, not even natural products do the job you are after.

Just relax... She is just a baby. Let her be.

Dear Deepplav,

if your DD is below 5yrs you can try egg white massage for her body it improves colour and makes the skin soft and lively. If she is above 5 you can massage milk cream and turmeric this also improves colour and brings shine and glow to skin.
Plz dont go for chemical products as that may harm her skin.
