    Dear Pushpavalli Amma,

It was very sad to read your article, eventhough it was well written. I can imagine what your MIL and hubby would have undergone. I know its very easy for me say,"let god give you strength", but i know practically it is so difficult.
Pl. take care and i will definitely include you all in my daily prayers.

<HR style="COLOR: #ffffff" SIZE=1>Ms.Pushpavalli..your narration took us all to the temple at the time of the murder and made us witnesses of the crime & the pain! It's wonderful that you being a stranger to the incident when it happened, yet with the experiences of your husband's and Mother-in-law's..could paint such a vivid picture of what happened!

That's all is needed to show us your understanding of your family and of the world. Cool. __________________

    Dear Venus,
I got married just after the first death anniversary of my f-i-l and the scar was deep then. That's why after so many years, I could remember the incident vividly. I was told the sad story both by my hubby and mil. When I went to the temple they showed me the place where it happened. Hence I could not forget it.
    Love,
    Pushpavalli

I came across this thread today and was really shocked to read it. For some reason we always assume such things happen to others, not to us. Moreover it is even harder to believe that this happened inside the temple premises to a person who was working as a priest in the temple. Really sad. Can imagine how traumatic it must have been for your mil and your husband.

    Dear Mrs.Srinivasan,

I am shell shocked to hear the tragedy in your family. Your husband might have gone through really rough time after coming to know of the tragedy. I was saddened to know that his wish to stay with the parents to enjoy the love of both mother and father was not fulfilled. Sometimes, it is beyond human mind to understand how a person who is doing the daily poojas in a temple and chanting Vedas every day could face that kind of a violent death. He definitely does not deserve such a violent death in that life. I am sure your husband was the source of strength for your mother in law at that time.

Your husband is very brave man to overcome that kind of an ordeal. Let God shower His Grace on your wonderful family.

    With kind regards.

    Viswa

    Dear Satchi,

My hubby longed to be with his parents as he missed that opportunity in his childhood. But destiny had snatched away one of them from him in a brutal manner. My mil was staying with us until her death, but the incident had affected her very much. She was a person who used to control her emotions and it affected her deeply. Last few years before her death she was off her mind on and off. So we had our difficult times with her. Yet we both and our children managed with patience.
Our life is filled with incidents that happen only in fiction. If you go through my old posts you will come to know and you will agree with me.
God is Great and He had given us the strength to grin and bear the trials and tribulations.
    Thanks for showing your concern,
    Love,
    PS
