mothers can only come to certain level but, if they do teach the right things according to the situation and time in life, i feel most children would grow up thinking about their upbringing and habits.
i saw an english film where dancing was taught to children who have been thrown out of the class with no concentration and jerking away to music with loud raps, then this gentle man who teaches ball room dancing comes in and brings about a change.
when the faculty and parents question him about what use it is, he explains by taking the lady principal to dance and after a few movements he says while dancing, now she is dancing because she has confidence in me that i would not misbehave, and i am dancing because i respect the lady, and this sort of teaching help the student to teach how to hold a lady with respect and not keep looking at them with lust, and wait for the first chance to pounce.
these pouncers of new year are coming from these restricted zones so when they get a freedom they misuse it.I remember my mother telling us, purushakittey pogha koodadu, pakkathiley okkara koodadu, kanneduthu paarka koodadu, like this the list went on and later once married i had to look up and handle many situation alone, so the extreme conditioning of mind is also bad, lets take the step according to present situation and teach a child to respect her body.

she should say no with confidence to every one including the husband when taken advantage of, no one will come to rescue u there, when u r alone, when your husband's friends ask for favor of sex, only u can refuse if u inform your husband, he might say cheh! That guy, he would never do something like this, then u r in more soup as he will take more advantage, so better to help the children see before these things come into fore..my answer seems becoming more hahah ...sunkan
