Hi jaanu_2721, I'll usually do pedicure at home. I'll tell you the remedy i'm following: Take a hot water in a bucket and add 2 tea spoon of lemon juice, 2 drops of olive oil and 5 drops of shampoo. Let your legs inside the water for about 10 - 15 mins. at the mean time, clean your fingers with an old tooth brush. You can feel the difference of your legs after taking pedicure. You'll feel a relaxation in your legs. Make it once a week or twise a week. I'm eagerly waiting for others remedies also. Thanks,
Dear Jaanu& Uma, This is how i do Pedicure at home: Warm water - 1 small tub Lemon juice - 4 drops Olive/Almond/Jojoba oil - 4 drops Pedicure shampoo(available in market) - 2 drops Keep Legs in Warm Water for 10- 15 mins.Remove dead skin by rubbing gently with a pedicure brush (dunt use the steel foot scrapper). Dry legs with a soft cloth.Apply Creams if u have cracked heels, else apply a moisturiser when the legs are still damp. Wearing socks is optional to avoid dust thru the cracked heels. Alternately to remove the dead skin u can use the pumice stone.
Hmm.. Lime juice for pedicure. I never used it. I will try it next time. I do following.. Soak feet in warm water, Pedicure shampoo and Hydrogen peroxide. I use exxfoliator to remove dead skin , masssage feet for 10 minutes. Then keep the foot in steamed towel. Take out feet and remove deadskin. I have couple of fuming stone for it. Then I apply nail cream. remove cuticles and massage nails. Apply preferred nail color and last use foot spray.
I used to massage my feet first with coconut or olive oil before I start the pedicure...massaging used to make it easy to remove the dead cells once we start soaking our feet in hot water... I liked the suggestions here which I would like to try...its a bit different than the regime i used to follow...Thanks!!
hi frnds.. nice tips u have share.d.. i can also follow this.. i never used lime juice i'll try that...
Whatever you use you have to use pumice stone and scrub it very well and cut and clena inside of the nails with a stiff tooth brush. Then moisturise:thumbsup
