It is my belief that the more we veer away from our traditional foods and eating habits, the more we increase our liklihood of developing diabetes. What do you think?

well, I dont agree with it, my mother(58) always had home made food, that too no over eating, no junk foods(maggie, or anything of thatsort), and is a vegetarian, but she developed dibetic, bp, and cholestrol..
her parents never had dibeties and cholestrol,
when she mentioned this to her doctor, he said there is no such thing, and you cannot compare your life with your parents life, doctor said ki"in our life, we swith on and every work is done,- washing/ grinding etc etc
and this change in lifestyle brings such deceases. when i was pregnant, i had gd,
and i am pre dibetic now..
this is mainly due to our lifestyles..
    and tensions..
    regards
