There are 7 waterfalls called Kanching waterfalls about 25 kms drive from KL its a beautiful place and u must go prepared for the walk also there are lots of monkeys around so be vigilant with ur belongings, about 3 or 4 km ahead of FRIM.....worth a picnic :)

One of Kuala Lumpur’s most frequented tourist attractions; Batu Caves is a limestone hill comprising three main caves and a few smaller ones.

Interesting..Good to hear u had a good time there, Sonu..The last time we went in June '11, there was renovation in progress. They were trying to build a mini amusement park for the kids, train ride etc..Sand, bricks everywhere.
    Is that all complete now?

Coming back to this thread once again, I am currently searching for a 2-3 days getaway somewhere near KL> with a 1 year old..

Have already been to Genting, Cameron, BUkit tinngi, and the like.. As its heavily raining these days, I guess beaches wouldnt be fun..

    Where to go? Any ideas?ideasmiley

    Hi Vemala,

Thanks for the idea.. Bird park/ Butterfly park would be good.. But as adults, we have seen that few times.. and I thought it might be boring for me and Dh.

We were looking for a place that we haven't gone earlier, any other suggestion?
