h ru?i will never forget our meet up.ok,stepping back,we cannot digest the statement made by the girl .On the other side after all she is an employee of the organisation.She don't want any ethical values or follow morality in speaking.So casually pointing or asking to you,definitely she may also not behave like that when she is in your situation.she asks that question may be because she is attuned to such kind of people.Where is the society going?.....

such calls only try to lure innocent people by offering gifts. Do you know what they do there in the meeting?
They make the attendees sit in a beautifully decorated room and lecture about the benefits of joining their holiday club. I hear that there are vey beautiful girls dressed up for this and the sweet talk people into signing up for the packages. People are pressurised and some succumb to this and sign up. Sometimes the credit card is misused and sometimes money is taken as advance. You are give the 'gift' a worthless plastic or glass object wrapped beautifully. No food is given . Only later one realises that they have been duped. If you get any calls, please be rude to the caller so that they will think twice about calling another person.
Also avoid filling up the draw slips given at exhibitions, you getting nagging phone calls or even visits sometimes.And if you just mention that your hubby is abroad, you are finished.
This is a new way of theft unique to Chennai.

Hope you are doing fine and in the pinkest of your health now. My prayers for your well being.

It was a shock as i went through the conversation write-up which you had had with that girl on the other side of the gadget. But i would like to quote a similar incident that was experienced by one of my relatives. A very similar situation where in they had won a prize (a similar holiday package) and they were called as a couple to collect the same. As such the party was not arranged for prize distribution ; but to attract customers for some worth-less contracts and signing in procedures. They returned home with "a plastic set" (the "so-called holiday packaged" was just a word written on water).

Work and professional ethics go out of mind and they are not taken care of. The moral principles (as rightly said by Bhargavi ma'am) are erased out of mind and weeded out completely in this fast moving e-world.

Self-introspection is what i would call the need of the hour.

A warm evening to you! I liked your concept of "hidden expectations". Well said.

Everything depends on our needs and in what angle we view things at. Needs always outsmart our accomplishments and we tend to go greedy when such situations strike.

Also your comment related to "Mahabharatham" is worthy of its appreciation as it is brought into light in the right context.

this is a routine with some firms, recently even bambi my sis son sent my sis and her husband to claim the same ticket to goa but i dont think anything happened, some stupidity surveys and gifts of india..sunkan

Rightly said. A thread of awareness on all these public issues can be kick started in IL so that we can prevent others getting themselves into such quagmires.
