    Dear Chithra
I agree that prem patras continue throughout our lives and I was never at the receiving end of them. How do you know that the memoes and chargesheets issued by Banks to their employess for direliction of duty are referred to as 'love letters'?
I eagerly await your PM but pray tell me, how can harmless sins be enjoyable? It will be like Masal Vadai without salt!

    Dear Sri,
If you have a preconceived notion that only harmful sins are enjoyable - well, I wonder, if my PMing you is worth the time, I spend on drafting it!
Masal vadai without salt? - is this how you talk to a cookery columnist ? So, you are used to taking everything in life only with a pinch of salt !
What an attitude problem, my elderly friend !
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Cheeniya Sir
A humble request; I too would like to hear about "the harmless sin" list; I dont understand how those 2 words harmless and sin go together?? So did you get it or not? And why is Madam hell bent on calling you "elderly"? Is she rubbing it in thats what she is?? No clue..

Well, AC - do not be in a hurry ! It is a strictly 60+ list. You will not qualify for that yet.
The family commitments must be all over, first. Then you can start "playing" harmlessly.
It is sooooooooooooooo enjoyable - life becomes a merry-go-round !
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Sri Sir,

Really enjoyed that post.. and very refreshing one.
I have already started atoning my sins committed over the past treating all small such incidents....:)-

Your sins list is very few compared to current generations. But most of the sinns are really not sins.. They are actions expected out of that age group. If those actions are not performed rightly at that age, people cannot go back and do the same when they are 40 or 60. I think we should treat all these actions with a warm smile..

Like Chitra mam, most of us have been in our schools only with a sole aim "Education" and not entertaining love letters or evening parties... Time flew very fast..
Its very nice to read chitra mam's list.

Very very nice post and still most of the list is very indian in nature..compared to our Western and rest of asian nature....

    Simply brilliant!

What a wit, what a take on age, death and of all the things...the obituary column!! :cheers Must give it to you Cheeniya sir! Kamalji was very right, you need to write...you Must write...in a Top daily newspaper! But then, I have changed my mind. Why would I poke my own eye..You will then not be able to share these very precious essays with us here. If only people knew how lucky we get here!

You stay with us and let's keep having this party. Look what you do, you seem to bring out the best in others too. I simply enjoyed the replies from Vidya, Anandchitra and the Chitvish.

Reading Vidya's reply, I am amazed at this discovery that even a sin is only a relative term, what is sin here is not a sin elsewhere. Come to think of it, makes sense ! Why else would someone migrate to another country when accused of murder or mayhem in his own!!

You forgot to mention the One Big Sin that you are committing now Cheens....Reading the Obituary columns!
Well, there is no atonement for this particular sin. STOP reading them and just feel young as your words...cause if anything, you write like a strapping 25yr old! So now don't go looking for those sixty yr olds who have attempted sport with the bucket. You have better things to do...Come over to IL and continue this tete-a-tete with 'us young 'uns' till the neverending dusk!! What if no prempathras ( I can chat with Mrs Indra abt that!), there are loads of pms, fbs and other such things...

    L, Kamla

    Dear Kamalji
It's high time someone puts a ceiling on praising others! An ant can carry a grain of rice but what will happen if you put a 50kg bag of rice on its back? With great difficulty I am keeping my ego under acceptable levels. Please dont make it difficult for me!
I look forward to your blog which I guess will contain a more exhaustive list of sins!
We'll stick to IL Kamalji. It's such a delightful crowd here!
    Sri
