    Hi Friends,

Does anyone know of a site that will enable me to share full-size photos with friends and family? I have tried shutterfly, ofoto, snapfish and yahoo photos, but all of them shrink the photos to a small size that resolution is affected.

I am looking for a site that will enable me to share the photos in the same ~4MB size that gets downloaded from my camera. Do any of you know of such a site?

    Bharthi

    Hi,
My name s Suni, why dont you try picasa from google. You can download it from google for free. Theres also online account for it, can use your gmail id. You can download pix to picasa directly, and then upload it to the online account and share it with any number of people. The resolution is good. They can download it as well. If they cant view it becos of the slow network you can upload it into a web album in the online picasa, and share it with them.
    Hope this helps
    Regards
    Suni

    Hi,
If your purpose is a means to send big size pictures to family you can try downloading 'image resizer powertoy' software. It is a Microsoft free software.
Once you have it in your system you can reduce the size of the photos (not as snapfish or yahoo photos reduce. That is, the length and breadth will not be reduced much). But actual size of the picture will be enormously reduced to few KBs , so you can easily attach many many inyour emails or chat easily.
    Hope this helps,
    Karthika.

Usually the digital cameras come with a software disc that needs to be installed in your pc that lets you compress the size of the image files while downloading to your PC. you have to select the option Optimize for sharing (other options are optimize for Printing and one other) You can then easily attach these to your emails (canon comes with one).

    Hi,
My Vote is also for Picasa. You can make the photos, private, public anything you like and it is pretty fast and smart.

    Dear Bharathi,
I also had the same problem, when my parents were asking for full size image so that they can take prints of them...................

U can use YouSendIt - Send large files - transfer delivery - FTP Replacement or MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service where u can upload your photos and send them to your friends. They will be of the same size. These photos will be there in that site for 10 days after which they will be automatically deleted.Am regularly using them and they are free too.

    Hi,

This is not exactly what you have asked for - but I think you can use the service of this site 'picsquare' and deliver any size photo printouts to people at home.

    Cheers,

    Sumathy
