    Dear Sridhar,
Very nice episode with much more messages!

The Mythili-ish characters are hard to miss these days, who are ever happy to trip others and laugh at them. And now, i guess she might come with more vehemence than before to avenge poor Sethu, for she was cornered by Nalini and let down by her own party, Sharada. These kind of people will never want to have their down fall in front of any one, let alone an ordinary employee of a Hotel. Flase harassment on Sethu??What a foxy scheme, only to be a utter blow.Nice way to go with Mythili's retaliating character .....Touch of whip hand

Sethu smiling though when confronted, must have really got onto the nerves of Mythili. His cool and calm composure failed to attract her. But he is not disturbed by it. He helped Sharada though then Mythili puts forth her opposition..... Touch of altruism

Portrayal of Sharada's flair for Bharathnayam reminds me of Actress Padmini from Thillana Moganambal. How can we forget the Bharathnatyam Queen who (almost) fits into your description of Sharada. Though being an ambassador of the indian classical dance, she respects and rewards Sethu..... Touch of touche.

I guess you are speaking your mind through her, when telling about there is Only God

“’Eesavaashyam Idham Sarvam’ ‘Whatever is there is only God’, our scriptures roar.”

We Indians strongly believe that God exists in everything, "Thunilum irupaan thurumbilum irupan". A roaring statement...... Touch of philosophy

Nalini surely impress us when she stands by for Sethu and apologize on his behalf and lets Sethu take the stage when Sharada lets him to be garlanded. The way she handled the crisis of Sharada's accident was incredible.... Touch of personal entrepreneur skills.

Now, now, Balakrishnan(??????)Why sitting in last row ?Isn't he the Balakrishnan, behind Sharada???and jealous!!! More twisting(oh no, not legs) to come in the story i believe, but not for another 2 weeks time, period!Right?!!?

    Dear Shanthi,

Even what has to be said has already been said, you can say that again. Every one has her own unique way of expression and I love all of them.

I want HE to mimic life as much as possible. And life consists of small hits, interleaving romance, a little philosophy and a lot of humour for those who can see it in the proper sense.

    Thanks once again Shanthi.

    regards,

    Hi Purni,

Thanks for those great words which now stirs me up to write the next episode. I have not even started.

All dreamers need not be writers. But all writers have to be dreamers. Unless he dreams and he enjoys his dream he cannot write anything which his readers enjoy.

As I told in my reply to Vandhana, I am not writing a serial story. I am writing the screenplay and dialogues for a movie which unfolds before my eyes.

But this story can never be made into a movie. You will find only in the climax.

    Thanks once again Purni.
    regards,

    Dear Sridhar,
Had to miss the fire on saturday due to week end outing. But made it a point to read the episode along with my cup of coffee. Great job Sridhar, back into your own style and crisp.

I guessed that you have taken Dr. Padma Subramaniam as your example for the role of Saradha, but for Mythili OMG, I think every one of us have crossed such a person in our lives. Dunno whether they could be cured. As Mr. Cheeniya have said in one of his writings that if something happens to you somewhere you show it on others, and I persume the original and virtual Mythili's are just the same.

I am a staunch beleiver that even the deed you do be it good or bad is guided strongly by GOD, and you have put down that so correctly.

    Waiting for HE - 5

    Dear Sridhar,
Wow,:clap:clap:clap, a very racy and gripping episode. You have brought out the concept of 'a woman scorned' in Myhtili's reaction and hatred towards Sethu. It is true and sad that some women, in reality also, use this concept of tarnishing the reputation of a man this way. And being the cool cat he is, Sethu had dodged her ploy.
And in the last sentence you have shown the tip of an ice burg, Balakrishnan, I guess.

I was reminded of my late father while I read the parts where Sethu was trying to set right Sharada's cramps. My father was an expert in this and he even set right the middle finger of our neighbour when it was twisted, literally. His modus operandi was always like this- he would apply oil on the part affected gently and would be holding a very casual talk with the person to relax that person. Slowly he will be increasing the pressure and the person would not know it. Then suddenly, he will give the right amount of pressure and the person would cry out loud. And the problem would be solved. Only the person has to get a light massage for two more days. Anybody who had a cramp or such problem in our colony would come iimediately to my father only. He was such a genlte and nice person that women would not feel delicate to come to him, he was such a great soul. He had done this service with out taking anything except the people's love as his fees. I regret very much not learning this technique from him, now.
But I will say that I can try to ease the discomfort when somebody has a small cramp. I have done that to my hubby and son so many times. May be his blessings is there that helps me in this.

Today my father will be in my thoughts much more than usual, thank you.

Dear Varalotti sir, Interesting episode. The way in which Mythili wanted to set a trap to Sethu and how Sethu escaped from the trap was interesting. Sethu is attracting the readers by his humble ways and wonderful principles. The new character Mr. Balakrishnan is being introduced. Is he the husband of Sharada or her Father? Waiting to read the next episode. Each timeline is becoming more and more interesting and waiting for two weeks to read the next episode is very painful.

    Dear Meenu,

This story was not born out of my US experiences at all. I had the vague outline of the story for a long time. I just built up the story on it. But I am writing every episode afresh. For instance I have not yet started with E5. Have not even decided which timeline I should adhere to.

But the love and admiration I have for Americans (at least those I met) I have tried to bring it in the story. It is very easy to move with the Americans. They are what we say in the software world as WYSIWIG. What you see is what you get.

There is no hypocracy. No exaggeration. Nothing. If they have a girl friend they tell you so. If they go to a church they tell you so. If they visit an immoral woman, they tell you that also.

But we Indians are adept in being one thing, and projecting the exact opposite. An American's CV speaks the truth; an Indian's CV is exaggeration. (of course, exceptions are there._

Thanks for the nice words, Meenu. It is the nature of the subject, ethnic, spiritual that makes me write well. More than that wishes from good friends like has have also helped me do that.

    Thanks once again,
    regards,

    Dear Sridhar

HE seems to get interesting...! Like Arthur Hailey, you seem to bring in a lot of researched information..It was the silk saree in SHE( too bad we couldn't get much about the diamonds in Kumbakom, but am sure we will get it another work ) and then the hotel management, then the varmakalai..good for us.

Looking forward to the next episode.

    -Gayathri.

    Hi Mals,

I am really surprised to see that the character I introduced virtually in the last minute has caught everybody's attention. I mean Mythili. I can think of two reasons for that.

One, we see Mythilis, quite a lot of them, in the corporate world and outside it. Second, I had a lot of unspent anger against a character of that name. (For details, please see my reply to Kamla) and that made me load the character with all my feelings.

Every human relationship is like a vulcano. When we meet some one whom, we think is our soul mate, the vulcano in us starts to roar. When we get closer to that person, the activity in the vulcano intensifies. And at one point of time, when the intimacy reaches the peak, the vulcano erupts, spreading lava for miles and miles.

And after a while the vulcano cools down. The vulcano will be the same before and after eruption. But the surrounding areas will be devastated.

What's this, I have started writing a story for a reply?

Nalini-Sethu relationship is another delicate area, which I am afraid to even go near. I am just holding them lightly in my mind. Let's see what happens to them.

You want hints about next episode, Mals? As of now the only hint I can give is that it might be delayed. I have not yet started to write. Got caught in another project.

Thanks for the nice words about my writing.
    Stay tuned.

    love,

    Hello Aruna,
Thanks. Nalini,is my vision of an ideal executive who uses her things and loves her people and not the other way round.
Even if the most expensive chandelier of the hotel is broken it can be replaced in seconds. But not an employee, especially someone like Sethu. And again, there is also an extra compassion in the relationship.

No relationship can be compartmentalised saying that "I moving with him/her in my official capacity." You either relate well or badly. You can't categorise it.

If somebody tells a mother, "you are beautiful", she will be happy. But if some who has curdled her child tells her, 'your child is great', she is in on Cloud nine.

Yes this one was a little touchy. Even my eyes became wet when I wrote some of the scenes.

This now places a greater responsibility on myself. My God, Saturday is only 4 days away.

    regards,
