    Dear Kamalji,
    People like you, with your disposition and friendliness will live for a hundred years.
    I live in Madurai, a Tier 2 city in Tamilnadu, about 500 kms from Chennai. An overnight train journey or about 45 minutes of flight.
    I am also keen on meeting you Kamalji.
    Anyhow I have to warn you that once we meet, we have to get drunk on coffee prepared by my wife or payasam, a traditional south Indian sweet dish, which our cook is an expert in messing up with.

    Your post, I read, re-read - and read it again.
    It was truly touching. It was also like a personal message for my marriage. Thank you.

    Love is like wine - the longer it matures the better the memories and richer is ones life because of it.

    My condolences to Mr C for his loss and my salute to the rich life he has had. Being my selfish self... I wish I have atleast half the beauty and joy he has shared with his wife in my own marriage!

    Thanks for those kind words. I am moved to see that it had some personal message for you.

    You are right about love. Like wine, books and friends, the older it gets, the better it is.

    I am sure your marriage will be more beautiful and meaningful in the years to come.

    What a moving story.....Really the love betweena husband and wife is so divine....One has to experienced it...It gets stronger each day....I remember one of my aunt who is inher seventies...She always says that her Dh should go before herself...All of us were shocked as as ideal indian woman never say these kind of words ever..She replied that her husband is very conservative and speak his mind no matter what others has to say...So many times it lead to arguments between him and her DILs....She is the only one who try to solve these explosive moments...And take care of her husband....if she is gone then who will look after my uncle...We have no words after that...

    Thanks Radhica. Your aunt's love for her DH is so very pure and unconditional.
    Ultimately one can never repay the wife's love. I used to tell my wife whenever I am ill.
    'I should not die now. I have done my duty to my parents, to my child. I have made my teachers proud and my friends happy. But I have not even repaid a millionth of your love and service to me.'
    This incident which actually happened in my office made me so sad for many days.
