I had been reading your progress from TTCing till successfull BFP. Congrats to u & your DH. Hope you'll have smooth pregnancy & safe delivery. Did you encountered any cramps before getting a BFP?

Thanks dear. Its all becos of the support and prayers of such wonderful people here in IL that we are experiencing the biggest gift of our lives.

Regarding IUI..........well yes i had some cramps 2-3 days post IUI which my doc said is common. Also i felt a sharp pain exatly 6 days post IUI which later i found out was implantaion cramping (when i got my BFP:bowdown)
And one thing i would like to tell u.....it is very common to get period like cramps all throughout your 1st trimester (12 weeks). I got them pretty frequently for say 2-3 mins at a stretch.....its due to the uterus expanding to make room for the fetus. Also such cramps occur before AF....so honestly cramps cant be very conclusive symptom for BFP u know.
But yes.....in my 2WW of 2nd IUI i had breast tenderness (as in my nipples used to hurt) say 3-4 days before i tested(i tested on 15th day) and such thing was very new to me....i never had breast tenderness ever before. So i was suspecting pregnancy. But if its a AF symptom for u....then u cant be very sure. But yes nipples hurting is a good sign:thumbsup

From your 1st post....what i incurr is that u may have progeterone deficiency maybe thats why u had a miscarriage or maybe your other cycles failed. Plus u took clomid which thins your uterine lining (endo) which makes it difficult for the fertilised egg to implant or even detach very early(miscarriage). Good u r taking Duphaston 10mg which is a progesterone supplement. That helps in maintaining the endo thickness and prevents miscarriage to a gr8 extent. I took Duphaston upto 12 weeks(becos after that the placenta forms and thereafter placenta can protect the fetus from detaching).

Thanks alot...Really appreciate your reply. Anyway looking at my current symptoms, i dont think i would be able to share my BFP this month with all the ladies here as it is so frustrating to have this cramps & this is making me soo negative, even DH asked me to stop thinking about it...now my feet also started to ache which i usually get before AF. As today is 11dpiui, when do you think i should test..

 

If you are taking a Beta HCG blood test then 15 days post IUI is a good time to test. But of your are just doing HPT test then i would suggest u to wait for some more days and then test(only if u dont get AF).
Actually i never tested with HPT.....i only did the HCG blood test. But some women say that u can do HPT 2-3days after missing your AF. But if u get a BFN and your AF still doesnt arrive then u can repeat the HPT after another 2-3days.

Hello Ladies,

Sorry for not updating about me... I was very frustrated and in depression that i got my AF last month on 14DPO like a clock work :bang and now with fresh cycle going to 2nd round of IUI.. It took almost a week to get back to normal for me...I had lots of hopes for that cycle since i had some unusual symptoms like breast tender, fatigue and mild abdominal cramping on and off from 3dpo to 9 dpo .... then i lost hopes when my temp dropped on 10dpo with periods like symptoms, leg cramp,bloated and back ache which i usually have every month prior to AF ......but what i noticed is my luteal phase length has increased from 11 to 13 days... dont know when god will help me to get pregnant,really very frustrated that i got tears when i was speaking with my doc also.... my DH is very supportive in each and everything feels very lucky to have him...

In our apartment already ladies have started discussing about me that i have prob in conceiving,it really hurts when they ask questions and comes to give all unnecessary suggestions.. they always keep an eye on our house and wants to know where we go and when we will come back.... its really hard to manage like this people around me..i think they are very bothered about me than my parents or inlaws... one lady intentionally hurts me by showing other pregnants and she also wished me on mother's day in some party in front of everyone and she asked sorry saying "oh you are still not mother na" as if she doesn't know... i came home and cried so much asking god why i have born as a girl in this world.. that lady has one kid and recently she aborted(killed) the second one..she feels proud to kill the unborn baby and behaves like its not very difficult for her to get pregnant again... why god always give baby for such heart less people and not for people like us who are ready to do anything to want a baby....
i am really desperate that i want to hold my own baby in front of such people .... god plz help me !!!
sorry for such a long post,i wanted to share my feelings with all wonderful ladies here so felt little emotion... pray for me ....

Hi Raghya, sorry to hear AF arrive....i know how frustrating u must be. Please ignore those who talks around about you as they are not the one who going to be with you when your are happy or sad...its your DH & your family..I really understand what you are going through as i myself have heard this kind of topics around me & even direct to me.. One of my aunt who conceived after 2 years of marriage told me i would be able to get ready fast during any functions as i dont have any kids to look after unlike her have to look after her 3 girls & this was last year (1 year after my marriage). I got shocked & even my maid told me during Mothers Day this year that she wont wish me as i am a mom yet, not that i asked her to wish...I wished her coz she have 3 kids but i never expect her to say such things to me..DH was also shocked & was lil upset with her. Now i am keeping my finger crossed to test in another 5 days time..Hoping alot as this is my first IUI & at the same time worried abit coz we didnt have IC during my fertile period coz of stress & we are depending on the IUI only. Here to do IUI will cost RM850 the cheapest (Rs12k+) but i think its more expensive in the US. So you are in TWW now?

Actually during my last pregnancy, i only got very light positive on HPT & beta was 95. I only had this joy for a week & then i started to spot. Did a tvs on 5th week while spotting but saw nothing. A week later saw a small clot & that time i was very sure i will miscarry any time. Then i decided to take another beta it was 900+ & two days later it dropped to 800+ as expected. So i waited to miscarry naturally. The pain was terrible...This time i dont want to do HGC, want to see if is positive in HPT & then will scan later. I am too tempted to test now but i know it will be a dissapointment. There are some HPT where can be checked as early as 5 days before AF arrive, is it reliable?

Sorry for your AF. Also I second Tba. Please ignore those words as they are not going to be with you life long. Your husband is there to support you isn't?.

You know nowadays my FIL is asking me to come to kerala (its my hubby's native) as i am not having child. he also told i will wait for one year to me to have baby, after that i want to go there if i didn't get pregnant. he told like that after hearing my DH words. My hubby will work in mumbai and i will be in kerala, then how come i will get a child. He is also telling that i won't get a child here afterwards with any treatment. My DH is very supportive, thats why i am still living. My DH is also little upset hearing my FIL words. no one is there for us to support (relatives). i am very relaxed because of you people in IL.

 

Am not sure about HPTs dear. I never used HPTs in both my IUI cycles as i tested 15days post IUI and its very early for HPTs to show a positive specially if u have a late conception.
But if your HCG was 95....then surely u were pregnant....plus it also reached 800 u said.....I know its painful to have a miscarriage. But if u want to be sure and cant wait....go for HCG or else be patient and try HPT.

HPTs measure HCG hormone in urine....which comes later (in huge quantities for a HPT to show positive) say 2-3days after your AF due date minimum. Whereas in blood its pretty detectable and also the accurate count is possible to establish. Even if u test a positive in HPT your gynac might ask u to do 2 HCG tests....to see whether your count is doubling or not (in the 1st few weeks HCG doubles every 48-72 hours) to be sure that your pregnancy is going healthy.

Its your choice. Anyways.....i will pray for your BFP dear. :bowdown
