    Hi all

I am new to this forum, but silently reading all as an guest. I am married for 1.5 years (age 33) and i am TTC from the time of marriage. after 5 months of marriage went to gynecologist because i have irregular periods, they gave medicines for that, now my periods are regular. I tried naturally for six months, but no positive results after that went to checkup. they gave a list of tests to be done, i took all the tests all are normal except i had PCOS and slight block in one tube (diagnosed in HSG), pcos and block was removed through laparoscopy, after that no positive results.

Now, doctor told to do HSG again, done HSG (incomplete hsg procedure) because of acutely anteverted uterus and spasm, also cervical os is tight I don't know what is this? if anyone know please explain

    Hi Without my soul,

You can find our forum guidelines here...
All the best for your treatments! Take care.

    Hi your little world,
Welcome to Indus Ladies & to this forum. :)
You can find our forum guidelines here...
After taking duphaston you may get your periods anywhere from 2-10days, so don't worry about that.
If you couldn't get pregnant after 6 months of trying, its better to check with a gynec again & know your body conditions now & then proceed with your treatments...
Since you are with PCOS, watch your diet & exercise routine. Take care.

    HI Swetha,
Hope soon the cyst vanishes.... If you are planning to return to India, check with the local doc & then proceed with next level of treatments. All the best.

    Hi Swati,
All the best to your IUI!

Baby dust to all TTC ladies...

Hi I have read the previous posts - thanks for ur useful info.
My hubby's semen analysis reads as:
viscosity 3 ml, sperm concertration: 1 million ml, motility:50%, forward progression: poor:60%, moderate:30%, good:10%, total sperm count 3 million, total motile sperm: 1.5 million, morphology: 20%, round cells: 2-3 million ml, agglutination: nil, micro-organishm :0-1 million ml, Result: Borderline motiltiy & morphology. Abnormal forms of elongated & tapered heads. Viscosity normal. Severe oligozoospermia (5 million ml)
Am very afraid and have below questions:
1.Could any1 please explain how bad is our case & whether our 1st page remedies would help us.
2.My hubby (34) & I (35) are TTC for 5 yrs. Only now done semen analysis. Doc suggested IVF. Is IVF safe?
    3. What's the difference between IUI, IVF & ICSI? What's the best for our case?
    4. Are these methods expensive?
    5. Are these methods painful?
    6. Also my hubby finds it difficult to eat things such as almond & honey on an empty stomach so if any1 could guide whether these can be had later in the day.

I have irregular period with pain.

Am now confused & concerned as to what to eat - hubby & I are non-veg mostly consume chicken (just realized now that it's heaty and hubby has high body heat and has heat boils usually.) We always eat rice, sometimes fish, sometimes eggs, cooked veg daily. Red meat once a month. Hubby has a lot of tea thoroughout the day. I don't have tea at all. We have milk sometimes.
Do we need to change our diets also completely - It would really help if any one could reply to my query above & suggest what we need to include in our diet & what to avoid.

Sorry for long post. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

    Hi IL Ladies,

I am new here & would like seek your opinion on my TTC journey. Its going to be 2 years of marriage on Aug. We are trying to concieve about 1 1/2 years now. After trying 3 month, i did HSG to check on my tubes last year June which is a year ago. The report shows my tubes were clear..:), we went on trying naturally but failed. My sis is a doctor (not gynea), last year Oct she gave me clomid to increase my changes. 50 mg from day 5-9. I concieved on that cycle but miscarried on week 6. After 2 months, we back to TTC journey naturally again on Feb'11. On march after i got my AF, we started to consult fertility Dr. Then he gave me clomid again this time it was 100mg day 2-6. On day 12th scan, i had only 1 follicle measuerd 18mm. That cycle we tried on our own, failed. The following month, i was given letrozole 5mg day 2-6, 12 day scan no follicles at all. Failed again. On June i got my AF on the 10th, i am back to clomid 150mg from day 2-6. On day 12th scan i had 2 matured follicle measured 26mm & 20mm. The lining were 9mm. I got my HCG shot that night(21/6/2011 @ 8pm) & got my first IUI done on 23/6/2011 @ 8.30pm which was after was 48 hours. DH's counts were great, 160 mil after wash with 90% motility. We did not BD during my fetile period coz DH feels stressfull to BD knowing the fact we are trying for a baby. I am 28 & DH is 34. Now on 10dpiui, i have some mild cramps & sore BB which is usually before AF. I am on Duphanston 10mg per day now.

I am worried because of the timing of IUI (after 48hrs). Can someone please assist me on this...:bowdown I am not sure will this be successfull or not..
