I was reading couple of posts & I came cross the word DH? What does it mean? Is it " Dear Husband"? Tell me..........shakehead
hi puni Mine has always been dear hubby or rather a darling hubby(touch wood) only. But in many cases they become "deadly harrasers" - When they beat up their wives. "dumb hippos"- When they dont help around and a poor wife has to do all the work. "dummy handpuppets"-When they dance to the tunes of our in laws. Just could think of these three, expecting more from others. regards rakshantha
It's not fair ladies. Let's also have a discussion on the alternative expansion for DWs. Could it be deadly worms, or Damned Witch or... Let your imagination run riot... but on both the directions...
Hello Sir, I haven't heard any husbands calling their wives as 'DW'. So your meanings for DW doesn't hold good. ~Punitha
Ladies, This is hilarious. I can think of no expansions for DW in the case of wives. But I can expand DW to apply to DH when they spend Sundays in front of the telly, wearing smelly PJs, not really waching anything but flicking the remote, asking for endless cups of masala chai, samosa--- DW- Dead Wood (for husbands)
Wow! Cool. Lot of naming for Dear(Poor) husbands! Now let me come up with some... DH - Daftly hacker (stealing our life), Demanding Hardheaded Dumbo Helpless deadly Honey Oh i really pity the husbands who are going to visit this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry guys
