dont know whether this is truth or not...but yeah it sounds fishy...or is it that the final date jun 17th given by Astis husband for separation, has come near so he wanted his parents to be around so that AStis parents dont create issues or get him arrested etc....i.e as a moral support for Astis husband...and seeing her inlaws come to help her husband...Asti might have felt cornered and out of options.....so she might have taken this sudden decision...

this girl does seem level headed as in one instance she said in her dairy that committing suicide is a silly thought etc....

Also what a psycho and sadist this guy Abhijit Sikander is...he used to turn on his speakerphone??? while talking to Ramya??? really???

Yes on every channel they are showing this.From her diary only police came to know that this guy n Ramya used to mentally harass her.He used to turn on his speaker n then talk to his gf.Infact I saw on one TV channel that he used to even make Asti talk to Ramya.and then this girl used to tell her that she needs to go away from Abhijeet's life.She also tortured her.

My eyes were filled with tears when i read this thread,Indeed a very tragic incident,I felt very sad for sweety and i really has no words to describe Sikander,I feel he should be severely punished for not just ending sweety's life but also for playing with emotions of Sweety,her parents and Ramya..Sikander is definitely a b*****d no doubt abt it,but If Sweety's parents would have been cautious regarding the groom ( if they would have done some background check for tht guy by enquiring his friends or colleagues at Bangalore) before fixing the alliance,it would have been great,Really this case is an eye-opener for all girl parents who would be searching alliances for their darling daughters not to just get carried away with guy's job,family status & wealth instead they should also take guy's character into consideration, The efforts taken now by Sweety's parents to punish Mikku,if they would have taken some steps to get Sweety out of this whole mess, then I think Sweety's life would have been saved, atleast her brother when he came to her house should have taken her to their hometown.I strongly feel tht Sweety was forced to commit suicide b'coz she didn't had any where to go neither dh nor parents nor job, really sad..

Lessons learned: 1.Women need to be Strong rather than too emotional
2. Both Girl&Guy's parents should be more honest,responsible & cautious.
3. For all those lovebirds: One shd love only if they have guts to marry their love,if they dont have courage to go against their parent's wishes(applicable to both men&women) then they should cut off contacts completely with their ex and shd settle down with whom they are married to..

Once again its proved that life after marriage wont be so rosy as they Portray in Movies&Serials.

May her soul rest in peace & pray God to give strength to her family...

I read the Sweety's dairy again from Bangalore mirror. Tears rolled out of my eyes again. The last part is very emotional and it shows how much pain she must have been going through.
This news is published in very city in India. I hope as other poster mentioned (I think NandShyam.. not sure) this Ramya's photo should posted not only in roads of Bangalore but in every city of India. She also should pay for her deeds. Is she a woman or devil???????????
I also read that this guy used to give phone to his girlfriend to call Sweety and tease her. Here is the link for more info.

According to most parents, a definition of GOOD GUY is "Well Educated(BE/MS/MBBS...), financially stable, good parents,either only male child or no responsibilities towards his siblings". They fail to look beyond these qualities. I feel girls are like apples from the tree. If you are lucky you will fall into right hands.
It's high time that parents open their eyes and don't just give their daughters blindly without doing any background check on their future sils.

Yes, before l complete reading the post itself, l found the mistake is from the ladies side only.
l fully accept Sri vidhya 75.Why Asti finished her life?
l feel she was very soft and emotional.She is not deserved to die.
When she is bold enough to try for job, that means she was well educated.
she must have ruined her stupid husband's life.
How that Ramya , even after knowing this man got married , lived with this man?
Only this Ramya and Mikku must be punished.
l believe there is no legal points to put them in jail. only god could punish them.
May the poor Sweety's soul end in peace.
My full day ends in pain and sorrow after reading this diary.
Moral:::::
Atleast this is a good lesson for all of us, especially who has daughters,
we should bring our daughters with more courage,and more confidence in life.
First of all we should teach our daughters the importance of life.and tell themthat ending our life will not be a permanent solution.it brings more pain to the rest of the family members.
We should get them marry only after they are well educated and get good job.
Always we should make them understand that only Marriage is not their goal in life.
Main thing is , we should always tell our daughters that they will get our all kinds of support in any point of time and in any situation.
Always we should be their best friend than as a mother.

Oh My god...Such a tragic incident....I literally cried after reading the post...I really feel very pity for her...she is a gem....after such harassment from her husband and scoldings from her IL...she didn't even say a bad word against them....she took all the blame...Why do guys parents especially MIL act such a way...she ruined her DIL life...and she blames her DIL for not keeping her son happy....If asti was her daughter would she be harsh?

From her every line...I learnt how much she loved her hubby...that B----------D dont deserve her...why did she end her life....She has wonderful parents who love her more than anybody else....I feel pity she ended life for such a b-------d....
Being a girl I feel pity in what situation we live....we are angels to our parents...but after marriage no one knows wat could happen...after marriage we depend on our hubby for every joy...girls, our parents are there....we should rem them....in difficult times they are with us....
if suicide is a problem...then what about our parents....Just leave the guy if u have pbms..
Girls are equally educated as boys but due to indian society...after marriage we loose our indentity...we live for some1,under sum1,serving others, our parent are also blamed for our every deed.....we shld be taught confidence,fight back,independendent,emotional strongness...
I also see ladies are the major ones causing pbms...her MIL and Ramya....
I feel bad about Indian culture(only marriage)

People have diffferent emotional make-ups ..some are bold and can take a lot of stress some are weak. We are dealing with a very young newly married girl whose dreams and life came crashing down. She was verbally abused constantly by 3 people ...the husband ,MIL and the idiot Ramya. Under enormous pressure people react differently ..some emerge stronger..some break. No matter what the outcome is its never the victims fault. Its a case of young girls life lost to needless greed and sick minds.
