I'm a teacher in a reputed CBSE school jaipur and

There is always demand for teachers in Indian schools(IS) in Muscat, The main ones in the capital city are IS Muscat, IS Darsait, IS aL Ghubra, IS Alwadi Alkabir . Go thru their websites, and you would find the application form. I have seen many of my friends apply and they get an interview call almost immediately.

I am not sure about the rent as we lived in company accomodation.

I found the grocery to be very reasonable (but dont convert it into indian currency). I guess for a 4 member family something within 100-150 rials should be good enough for a month ( but again that depends on what you buy).

As for medical treatment, the main hospital there is Royal Hospital.

The lifestyle is similar to what we have in India. But I would say Muscat is more quiet and calm, I lived there for 10 years and enjoyed every day of my stay there.

Sorry for late reply. I stay near by Indian school ghubra. In indian schools you may get lot of opportunities. In Indian school darsait i came know that lot of teachers have resigned and also in ISM. You may definetely get it.

In Muscat city it is around 5 schools and many more schools out of city.

According to rent its R.o. 350 for single bedroom and 450 for double bedroom.

Next come the groceries mostly it ll be around 100 - 150.

For medical here its lots of hospitals even Apollo medical centre is here.

Its very calm and relaxable life style here. But its quite oppopsite to u being u from Mumbai.
