Such an inhuman act, is going unpunished. GOD will punish him. But should we at IndusLadies stop at saying just that ! Isn't there something we can do? Like getting members to sign a memo so action be taken in Trichi or informing the Women's organisations in India and USA about this and requesting them for a plan of action. I cannot imagine a crime worse than this and if this goes unpunished ....... I don't know what to say. Maybe this is one chance for us to channel all of the energy we have gathered for so long and do something. What do we do, I don't know? But I really wish we did something. Maybe send out chain mails to everyone publicing this man's name and deeds to all our friends and humiliate him ... I don't know !!! But I am going to email this article right now to all my friends and ask them forward it to everyone they know.

How could parents just sit there and ask the daughter to adjust with the torture from these inlaws!!! Now are they happy !!! Their daughter is paying the ultimate price for honouring the family name !

Recently I was deeply disturbed by Cmit's posts. How she was able to accept the abuse her husband handed out to her !!! If she doesn't do something about it there is no telling what her husband will do in a fit of rage ! OH GOD !!!

Please ILites lets not just stand by and express sympathy, we should do something for Jenita and her baby !

    Hi Shanti,

Maybe we can start a chain here and send it to Infosys and other NGOs that help such women.

Infosys, should remove him from his position, as such inhuman acts should not be tolerated by companies as the orgn. too has some social responsibilities and i think Mrs. Sudha Murthy is at the fore of social work.

This is just my 2 cents.

    Roopa.

Yes, I think we should first hit him hard at the place he works. I do not know of anyone who works in Infosys! If anyone does then we can send in a mail with the information to them.

I have already sent all my friends this news along with a picture of Jenita to all of my contacts with a request to mail it to everyon they knew.

Maybe everyone who is interested could do that for a start.

I am very heartbroken after reading Jenita's accident. Its sad to see well educated and living in country like USA, Indian women still go through this. I pray for jenita and her baby. Hope she get well soon.

My suggestion, we Indians from every part of the USA should write to the higher authorities to get Jenita's husband and his family visa cancelled and request for life long prisonment. We Indians should set an example by taking this case to the justice. So, no other women go through this cruelity again, what Jenita's been through.

I will be happy to give my contribution, please let me know. Let's all pray for Jenita and her baby. Thank you.

It s indeed heartbreaking. I know couple of friends in Infosys. I would pass along this message. I was trying to search email address of Sudha murthy. So that we could write this to her.
I have asked infosys frends to pass me the info. I also know CEO of Accenture and couple of senior guys in Bangalore. So I guess I could get this guy really "publicised " in Bangalore. He wont get Job anywhere in Blore.

But thats just "revenge" part of it. I think there s more we all can learn and pass on from this incident.

    - Never confuse domestic violence with love
    - Never allow your in-laws and husband to touch you physically in violent manner. The first NO should be at first violent act , not at "being thrown from car".
    - Never marry a stranger guy , unless you know them from family circle. If you do make sure you do a thorough check.
    - Enable your daughters, sisters and just about any lady who you come across.
    - More than anybody the lady in question needs to be smart , wise and observant. You need to protect your own life before marriage, kid or anything.
I just wish Jenita and her family get strehgth to fight this and come out of it.

    Hi Ria,
It's great that you know people in Infosys. Yes I do want this guy's name to be known to everyone. He should be put to shame everytime he mentions his name ... anyplace. Your pointers are good and I wish every woman gets a chance to read this, especially cmit. Sometimes our women are just too tolerant !!!

Spread the word and lets get this guy down.

Shanthi, that's a very good initiative.
I just posted those new links from you to CNN through their I-report.. I think we should try to get the US media's attention here and rest will be taken care.
More thoughts and ideas from you on this,
Also anyone from North Carolina who knows these people?
