    My dear friends,

We are leading a life with our emotional, physical and thoughtful acts,
where in we sometimes succumb to our own pressures by over acting,
crossing our limits and repent later.

Where we have not applied our mind according to priorities and acted upon urgency. Often we bound to do mistakes and realized it much later.

Instead if we apply our inner soul to monitor, guide, see our pattern of thinking,
actions just like setting an alarm at an appropriate time to use it.
Imagine, if we are able to control our emotional disturbances, there is no tension,
only relaxed mind and feelings of satisfactions arise.

Emotional Intelligence includes self- awareness and impulse control,
persistence, zeal and self-motivation, empathy and social deftness.

These are the qualities that mark people who excel in real life:
whose intimate relationships flourish, who are stars in the workplace.

These are the hallmarks of character and self- discipline,
of altruism and compassion -basic capacities needed if our society is to thrive.

As it is natural that Fear is our biggest enemy,
and that can only be conquered by faith.

Fear and faith cannot coexist or control behavior together.
One or the other has to take over.

I understood the concept of faith as it is a powerful word that literally leads to mental invincibility.

I was really beginning to feel it in my life.

Can we remember a time when we became a little irritated with someone
and made a sharp comment that might have hurt,
    one which we later regretted?

Have we ever suffered in the pain of emotional agony over some loss or missed opportunity?

Do we recall a time when we felt so overwhelmed by emotion that we withdrew from everything and everyone?

In any of these cases to a lesser or greater degree the emotional part of our brain has produced a questionable response or perhaps a response that we may have regretted later.

So it is time to switch on our ‘alarm’ system in the brain.

This system effectively overrides the thinking part of our brain in emergencies
and causes an action or reaction that can be life saving.

We can learn to control the alarm response with persistence and patience
and reset the threshold to a more appropriate 'setting'.

Once we begin to recognize the emotional response before it happens,
we begin to develop the ability to stop that response
and engage the more rational part of our brain.

It is just about being alert before acting like situations,
visualizing the reactions before implementing and thereafter syndrome.

We may find ourselves becoming calmer, more relaxed
and better able to handle situations in a way that helps everyone
and allows the wonderful person that we truly are to shine through.

Keep ourselves of thoughts of arguing or fighting with others may also leave us in a better state of mind.

Allowing things to happen naturally and letting go of the need to be in control of every situation will allow us to feel better about ourselves and the world around us.

Why don’t we cultivate to enforce ourselves to implement our actions with little more jovial, laughter?

Our ability to laugh at our foibles and laugh with our friends is a key indicator for predicting how readily we'll bounce back from difficulties
and how well we'll handle the curveballs that life throws our way, and a quick smile is always the best defense in a situation that's hit a sour note.

Laughter, humor, a lighthearted sense of being - all of these are an important part of a well-balanced breakfast, dinner like for our life.

Without humor, there is no hope. Without laughter, there is no love.
And with a heavy heart, we live only a life of sadness and despair.
    Is it not!

Learn to bring laughter and joviality into our life and every step of the way will be filled with the warm embrace of good times spent with good friends & family in good health.

What we reflect in us is ultimate for us to experience.

Nice one as usual, Subbu Sir.

That's why they say that we should not take any decisions when we are emotional. moreover the words and the tone, come at that time only matters and not the information we want to convey reaches the person.
That is why Thiruvalluvar has said that 'idukkan varungaal naguga', i think.

    Dear subbuji,
This is the first article of yours i am reading. I have tried to keep up with all forum's every day since i joined here. As time permits i am reading along the posts and posting too. It is indeed right what you said. Humour should be part of our life and it's been with me all along. My dad has a very humorous streak and when i married and missed him, i found my husband to be overriding my father. I call my husband "Mr.Bean". The way he does the facial expressions will leave no one to keep a pesky
face even in the worse of situations.

I always try to put myself in other's shoe when i want to criticize or comment them. I have no right to comment others. They are how God created them to be. If God had decided to make someone mean and bad, who are we to question Him or His purpose. If there was no Duryodan there would be no Bhagavad Gita. So there is always good to be learnt from bad. And emotion should not take part in our decisions. It will only jeopardize the situation.
"Laugh and make other's to laugh, but don't laugh AT them "

Your Observations and points are well taken.
It is true to remain as a person who can make others laugh and not to make himself / herself a laughing stock before others vice versa.

Emotions plays a vital role in every one's life, it can possess, please, preserve, protect, provide the solace, provoke and permit others to feel.
Our actions are the responses to let the other understand & we need to be humble & co-operative.
Relationships are built on mutual trust and admirations.
Thanks for your kind visit and imprints left by your feedbacks.
