My favourite temple is Tirumala Tirupati. When i was in india i used to go to tirupati once in a year. Each and every time i go there and have darshan of lord venkatajalapathy tears roll out my eyes... they say anandakannir... i don't know why i have the feeling and also i feel so refreshing and a feeling of leaving all my worries to him and come back with a feeling that i have told my lord he will take care of everything...

Next favorite temple is Melmaruvathur. I have felt the power of Omsakthi at my times in my life.

My favourite temple is Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai-The presiding deity is Shivshakti putra Ganesha.

A mere glance of him destresses me.

    Hi Nalini,

I too have the same feeling as you felt... Lord is really awesome. I too feel the goosebumps and have told my dad many times that, how lucky are those people standing near the Lord all through the day.

My favourite temple is Tirupati and the Lord Venkateswara my fav deity, other than him are dear most pulli umachi ( Lora Ganesha) and Anju ( Anjaneyar). In Tirupati they say the Lord knows what you need, before you can ask for it. His darshan can make us go
    mad with joy.

    Hi nalini...
I love to go to my ishta deivam chottanikkara bagawathy....I don't even need to go to the temple..everyday when i get up in the morning, i feel transported to the temple for the nirmalaya darshan..the same in the evening...i just cant explain...i close my eyes...i can have the darshan...

How i came to worship her(??)..it is something beyond that.... i had written this somewhere in a thread for do you believe in horoscopes....

my dad was walking in tnagar near the panagal park area.this is 28years before we were not placed in chennai than...he was shopping..(these days you can see lot of people sitting there with some amman photos....and some hands and all parnaphelia...). This lady calls him by name and tells him you have a operation in 6 months..and you will start going to this temple from your daughter's 9th year and she told him the name of the deity and also told him the reason...(something about vitta/thotta kurai's)..Well in 4 months he had the operation...and we started going to that temple from my 9years and the temple was chottanikkarai, and i felt at home in the temple and neighbouring areas..pointing out post office, the house behind the temple and all..(which i have never seen before then..)..Till date we are searching for that lady....

My other temples..any temple where the vibrations are positive.(you can feel it the moment you put your leg inside..)... even if it is a small pillaiyar temple...i would like to visit....

    hi,

My favourite temple is Srirangam Aranganathaswami Temple. The reclining Lord looks awesome. We say one of His quality as "Karunyam" which reflects on the indwelling deity's eyes.

Since the Lord is "Alankarapriyar", the clothes and the jewels He adorns everyday is eye catchy. Visiting the huge temple campus is like a mini tour.

Moreover, you can have the darshan of the Great Saint Ramnuja, who believed to be attained Jeeva Samadhi. That sannadhi alone has an unusual odor as he attained Jeeva samadhi and the hair of the saint also proves that.

Temple Raja Gopuram is the main beauty.
