Re: shifting from gulf to Australia Hi Gayathri, We are planning to move to Melbourne in Jan 2012. I have a 6 year old boy studying in a British School in Dubai. I have heard a lot about racism prevailing in primary schools in Melbourne and have been warned to be very selective of the schools and put my son where Indians and other Asians are a majority. Please throw some light on it and let me know your views on schooling. It would be good if you can suggest a few schools which you think are strictly against racism. Thanks!
Re: shifting from gulf to Australia Dear Akirahin, Racism is persent everywhere in the world in one form or the other. I have no idea who has given you this wrong info. "Multiculturism" is what Oz identifies itself with. So, do not listen to stories, come over & have a look for your self. You will be blown over by the friendly atmosphere here. Rgds, Corallux

Re: Indian in Melbourne Hi Lakshmi, I need ur valuable advice. As we are planning to apply for PR in 175 category. We got almost all info except on funds. [1] How much funds do we require to make our case strong? [2] Do they ask for liquid asset or give weightage to Property & others assets in your names? [3] Is it fine to process your case on self basis or would be fair enough to take help of consultant? [4] If yes, can you suggest some consultants names in Delhi? Thanks Poonam
