Thanks, Sowmi!! Our method of making does not requite a tandoor - that is a special advantage!:thumbsup

    Dear Chitra madam...

Hope everything is well with you...

A few things that I made over the last couple of weeks. Made Idli upma (seeraalam); Semiya Upma; Sweet n spicy Paneer curry; Bread-peas curry; Peanut Dhal; Kesar Nankhatai; Jain Gobi peas Pulao; and Corainder rice.

Loved Sweet n spicy paneer curry the best; quick and tasty; and Kesar Nankahatai too. Too full of flavour. But I guess there was some conversion (ghee) problem from grams to cups; because the cookies flattened a little too much than usual. I gifted to a family friend of ours and they were quite thrilled about it :) . I loved idli upma. Best way to use the left over idli's. And found out that peanut dhal isn't our type of dhal ;)

Brought a candy thermometer last week. Not sure when I am going to use it. My mother lands tomorw; so the next 10 days and a month after that; I will most prbly be a visitor to the kitchen :))

    With Love
    Nitha

Oh Nitha, don't call it idli upma - seeraalam is perfectly cut into tiny cubes & made! Not crumbled as for idli upma, the name sounding ,monotonous!:-(
If you plan to bake, it is wise to invest in a small digital kitchen scale - I think, the ghee was perhas a wee bit too much.
The last para - you deserve to take it easy now, with the D day coming close. Enjoy all ama's delicacies &relax!
    Take care.

Nice to see you again, CM!
I use only coriander leaves for rayar sambar & it is good enough.
There are plenty in vazakai, bhindi etc, but seppankizangu, I have given chips & you can make roast also.Go thro' the recipe index, taking time.
    Do stay tuned.
