    Hi Sunkan Ma'am,
So, you add me in ur guest list........so many ladoos and I am not getting any of them here except boondi ladoo (which is there in Indian store from last diwali.....so scared to get them), so brought samosa (these are not the usual one but small ones with mixture fillings with cashew/nuts/raisins, not the usual potato/peas one, so storing is easy), rassogulla and planning to make gulab jamun and some easy to made burfis and kalakanda as all the ingredients are available in here.......
    regards.

thank lord for small mercies..now ur scared aren't you, u need to come out of it, there are plenty of places like the grants sweets and other small stores who sell every thing under the sun, and it is more easier for people who are unable to do on their own due to various reasons..all the best cheer up, nothing is lost, you have escaped now that is a great gift..sunkan

    Dear Shanthi,
do be careful, oil burn is really very very bad. thalaiku vanthathu thalaipaagaiyodu pochu. You can make later.

    Sunkan,
thanks, you did what I had in my mind, by starting this thread. I made besan ladu, chocolate burfi and moong dal chakli , pressure cooker halwa so far. Also planning to make mixer and okkarai today.
My mother makes mixer and wheat halwa everytime for Deepavali. My mil never used to make anything, will say that she is diabetic so nobody is there to eat the sweets. All work related things 'nammathula vazhakkamillai'.
I have posted the photo of the sweets made in Ask Chitvish comments section.
