FIRST COME FIRST SERVICE
I Don't know what means DPS have for this one. For around 200-300 admissions they are collecting more than 3000 application with Registration fee of Dhs 250. that is equal to Dhs 7,50,000. It is good donation amount for current year. so every year they are collecting this much amount. And additionally they are collecting school and etc....
if all other school also collect the same amount of application amount then they can also give good infrastructure and good education to all of their children. As per my knowledge DPs teachers dont know how to behave to kids and parents when they go for KG-1 intrasession. I hope most of the parents will accept.
because of DPS slogan "FIRST COME FIRST SERVICE" most of the parents are going very early to school for submitting the form and pay the non-refundable registration fee for intrasession. Making rush there and standing in very long queue. Actually no need to rush there and no need stand in big queue also. they are giving around one week time for payment. parents are rushing there because of DPS slogan "FIRST COME FIRST SERVICE". Every Parents wants to give good education for their kids. But we should not get fooled or cheated by education by money making people.
and we dont know what basis they are selecting KG-1 students. DPS expecting the child should answer all of their question with in frame of 5 mins (enterting intrasession room, introduction, question and coming out). I dont know how its possible. For interviewing KG-1 student admission there are more than 4 teachers in big room. by seeing the new atmosphere with 4 or more new different face, kids will take some time to settle there. before that time DPs contacting questions to child. some of the questions child may answers or pick the item. but we cannot expect really 100%.
really if you want admission in DPS parents should highly qualified and excellent speaking knowledge in english. Child should more than 3y6m and looks fair and excellent outlook. And the same time child also should answer for question or pick the things whoever asked (any new person). Make well prepare and go otherwise don't simply donate money to DPS. and If you are south indian, your chances are very less.
Leader Private school well organised for KG-1 intrasession by step by step formalites not like DPS come, sit and go Show. They intervied the kids only. what they know, how they are answering and how they are behaving without parents. Kids also like those kind of intrasession.
Same like this ETA Star Internation school also did kids intrasession. First 1 teacher asked the kids, about vegetables name, animals, flowers (Picture reading), colors, kids name, kids name spell, after that they took to another room and the other teacher asked about numbers, parents name, where studing (nurhsery), etc.. after all the test they are saying your child is excellent (nearly more than 50 words). you take direct admission. no need to meet Headmiss.
for Leader and Star Int test my child went alone for test and answered for all questions. When we went for DPs, my child didnt feel the that went to a school. so dear parents please visit the where they are giving respect to you and your children.
DPS may say that their point of view that we are getting lots and lot of application, so we don't have time to go all kids for proper intrasession. If they feel this way they can tell the requirment what they required from kids. Instead of this, not saying anything and collecting money from all people and ask them come intrasession and making most of the parents frustration. Parents taking permisson or off from company for their kids intrasession and the if you are not treated well how we feel. Time is important for both us.

And there is some news, that if you put your child at Al Khan nursery then you will get admission in DPS. that's also not sure. Nurshery never inform you about school admission and they dont have contact with any school. they can recommend only to GEMS millineum and school of knowledge. For any query you cannot contact nurshery by phone. you have to send sms only. then they will contact. so no use of going behind this nurshery.

i am also staying in sharjah. regarding the filter coffee powder ,here it is available ,but u need to tell correct % of chicory and coffee and they will grind accordingly. The taste differs from ours too strong. Better u buy from chennai to get real taste and enjoy.:coffee bye
