    Yeah....a H4 visa holder can have a joint bank account.
    I was asked to submit 2 proof's of address, passport & ITIN no.

    Hi

    People who cant have an SSN, are given an ITIN number, It is useful as your husband needs to give it out while filing his tax returns... you can ask your tax guy he'll apply for you...

    yes you can hold a credit card too, your husband has to apply it in his name, it'll be sort of an add on card that he gets on his credit card...
