Dear mami, Made Methi Paratha for dinner yesterday and had it with MW Tomato Thokku . Ended the dinner with Custard Fruit Kheer for dessert. The dessert was really yummy. Also I made the recently posted Gobi Simla Mirch couple of days back. It was superb , normally my dh doesnt like any gravy for chapathi with cauliflower , as mostly it will turn to be slightly watery and will look like kuruma texture. He doesnt like kurumas at all. So I was apprehensive while making it thinking I should keep some back up for him like raitha or dal etc in case if he doesnt like it. But it turned out a dry sabji and he liked it very much. Thanks mami.
Hi CHithu I made your version of Milagai Podi (for Idly/dosai) ....the one with sesame and it was excellent. Everyone at home loved it. I literally had tears in my eyes, as this was the taste closest to my Paati's podi. I wished she was alive to taste my version. Thanks again.
Thanks L & LL. Remember, the key to success is correct measurements & following the nuances & exact recipe, the first time!! Thereafter, you can make changes to suit your palette!
