New Indusladies Homepage is Live!

Dear IL’ites,

Today, we launched a new homepage for our site. It is fresh, cool and very useful.

Even though we started with the community forum, our site has evolved to include blogs, social groups, deals, videos and more. Our homepage was a bit behind its times as it didn’t fully reflect the breadth of our site. With the new homepage, you will see a good glimpse of everything that Indusladies is.

Earlier we also had a single listing of “Popular Threads”. We realized that there are several of you interested in specific topic areas. That is why we created six topic areas and we intend featuring interesting discussions & articles on those topic areas.

Social Groups have quietly gained a lot of popularity within our site. It looks like people are very interested in talking to others who share their same passion or lifestage. So, we pulled Social groups forward by adding a separate menu and also featuring social groups and social group discussions.

A vast majority of our visitors within India come from the Metros. So, we now have a section “What’s Up Metros” to showcase some of the interesting & useful threads from the various Metros. If you are from one of the Metros listed there, you would love it!

You will also see featured deals, featured blogs, featured discussions and more. We pulled more social elements into the homepage as well, including a glimpse of our facebook fans. You can see a “Hot Topics” bar to get you straight to some of the trending topics. You can now login or sign-up straight from the homepage.
