Hi Qatar ILites We are moving to Qatar by mid-March and am looking forward to it. I am due for my second baby by late July. At present we are in Abu dhabi and I have a very good gynaec here through my first delivery and evn now till date. I want to know the expereinces of women who have delivered in Qatat. What is the most preferred hospital/doctor for delivery? am hearing a lot of good reviews about Hamad..if so, any specific doctor there? My main worry is that my daughter is 1 year and 5 months now and I had a c-section with her because she was breech. So specifically are there specialists in Doha who are ready to handle a normal delivery after c-section? Any suggestions/experinces are welcome... Plus, I would also like to know soem infor about day-care for my daughter...what are the good ones and are they reliable. Because I might have to use those at the time of delivery. Please revert because we need to make a decision soon about moving from here. Rgds Sindhu
Hello Sindhu, Welcome soon to Doha!! Nice to hear you are on your family way 4 ur 2nd one!!!!!! As u heared Hamad has the best for Gyne. So dont worry they will take care of you. Imm after you come here arrange for ur health card with Hamad. Few of ur IL's & my friends have taken their delivery with Hamad and are satisfied with it. So dont worry. All the best:thumbsup I put my son in Gulf baby care in Mansoura and we were happy abt it. It depends on where u will stay to choose a day care. I would suggest u go to the day care to check their facilities before u opt for it. Welcome again to Doha and do stay in touch here & also keep updating ur decisions. Thanks Priya It was wonderful to hear from you and thanks a lot for your consoling words. Do you have names of any specific names of gynaecs in Hamad? I might need that for getting a reference letter from my current doc. I shall be in touch with you, regarding the daycares, once I land there. Hope these daycares are suitable for toddlers the age of 18 months or more. Meanwhile are you also aware of any good lady for massaging and bathing the newborn and the mother immediately after delivery? I might not be able to get my family there for along time so i will need all the help possible. Thaks once again and looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Priya and Hemalatha Waiting to hear from some more ILs regarding massage ladies and some contact numebrs, if available. Maybe I can chek with them right now and check their availability. @Hemlatha-did u have a normal or c-section in Hamad. This question is just out of curiosity as I want to know if c-sections are also done professionally and healing is easy and no complications after that. As I already mentioned, my first one was c-section, so better to be prepared for anything.
hai sindhu actualy my DD is breech so c setion for her and DS he is also in breech so we did c section otherwise it seems normal for second one.they wait for 1day for normal finaly they did c section healing is normal dont worry for nanny i will chek with my friends and tell u regards hemamaurali
