    And your later stroke kolam is very nice.. I should thank you for giving me this idea.. will try some day..

    dear ahila ,

    sorry da , that star kolam not clicked in a right way & i erased it also ....

    try the stroke effect whenever you are free. that will look amazingly different. in my todays new thread , i ve given different stroke stlyes also ...u can do it with INDEX FINGER OR with an ear bud. goodluck. plz upload ur share also.

    thanks. that style was taught by my aunt many years back. we use to create dif effects for our pooja decoration. with borders also it looks nice.

    that pongal rangoli was awesome...lovely..keep it up....neat symmetry..wonderful colour combintation

    even i wanted to try rangoli this year for pongal but couldnt because of lack of time...

    keep drawing on important days too so that you can draw bigger ones soon

    Hey Swaran... Thanks for your lovely comments...

    so far I have never drawn Rangoli for Pongal though I draw rangolis on other days... I used to draw the routine Pongal Paanai and Karumbu.. But this year I didnt want to draw the same since people here dont know the importance of pongal..so I drew this rangoli and in the center drew my favourite pongal paanai.. (Pongal Paanai illaama oru pongal kolamaaaa!!!)

    And of course it consumes time.. I drew it on the Bogi day night itself...

    Meena...your pongal kolams are lovely....i guess you are a natural artist...selecting lovelycolours and they look so real...all colours look like fabric colors,so even and neat
