I am going one day before so that I can see Dasara celebrations at <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Mysore</st1lace></st1:City> palace. How far is this palace from railway station? Which is the best time to visit that palace (morning/evening)? Regards
Hi Asha Nice to know that you will be going to Mysore. I am from Mysore and I am missing the dasa celebrations this time. There are lots of places to see in Mysore. Palace is not very far from railway station, may be some 5-6 kms. You can take a taxi/auto to go there. The palace would be illuminated in the evenings and thats a wonderful sight, dont miss it. You can go there in the late afternoon, look around the interiors and stay to watch the lighting. You can also visit Chamundi Hills,Brindavan gardens etc.. There would be some bus tours also. Enjoy. Veena.
