    Hi soniya

Today I bought methi leaves ( 2 bundles) for subji. I used to make ----

In the PAN - little oil + jeera + onion + garlic (crushed) + G.chills (slit) and fry. Then add haldi + corrainder powder (optional).
Then add small cut potatoes and fry for 3 mts.
Then add cleaned cut methi leaves and fry in low flame for 5 mts ( sprinkle water time to time) . Then add garam masala and fry for 2 mts.
    Garnish with little coconut..

But can you give me a NEW receipe, i will be happy to try dear.
Can I wait for a day for your reply?
Then tomorrow I will make methi chappati and wait for your new receipe. Ok na

    Hi Soniya..

Its a very simple one and I prepare this when I am tired/bored... :)

    1. Add oil to the cooker
    2. Fry onion till it gets translucent and add green chillies
    3. Add brinjal (3 or 4)
    4. Add salt, turmeric, coriander powder
    5. Fry for few minutes
    6. Add 1 tbsp of besan
    7. Add 2 cups of water and mix well
    8. Pressure cook (3 whistles)
    9. Temper mustard, curry leaves, jeera, hing in oil
    10. Add this to the gravy along with coriander leaves

dosa-the most versatile breakfast-- try paneer stuffed dosa-

make a crisp dosa- before turning the other side, spread a mxture of paneer on one half- fold the dosa into half, press with ladle, if needed add a little ghee-turn the dosa, and then the mouth watering dosa is ready...

    paneer stuffing:
grate a little paneer, heat a kadai, add a little ghee, fry jeera, finely chopped greenchillis, grated ginger, onions cut finely(optional), add the paneer, add alittle salt, sprinkle pepper powder, adn dash it with finely chopped corainder leaves.

use this stuffing inside the dosa, ur kids will love this-make variations, adding grated carrots, spring onions, caabage, methi leaves, nuts, etc.

also for health conscious, tofu can be used instead of soya.

    Marandhutten Mithy!! Thanks!! :)
Yeah.. different and easy.. I learnt it from a Punjabi friend..
You can add either green chillies or chilly powder (for the colour)
You can also add grated ginger and garlic along with onion.
