Beware of Amway\Alticor\Quixtar Multilevel Marketing

You know I did a lot of research on Amway before I joined on. And I couldn't be happier.

You seem to have the wrong view about what amway is.

Amway is NOT a get rich scheme. It is a BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. Like any other business opportunity it requires time, effort AND investment.

you most definitley will not make a million in a day!

my sponsor has been working hard for a year on her business now along with her part time job and shes making around $2000 a month now. I am not saying that everyone who joins amway will get that much too. Im saying that those who are determined to take their business to the next level will do succeed

no one can be successful in anything without hard work! thats one of the basic principles of life!

Amway has been around for more than 50 years now. and is at the top in network marketing.

scams barely last a year.

GREAT business' last a lifetime.


(I have been with Amway for a month now. And I am so grateful for this opportunity to change my life around! I am a university student, I have a part time job and i still make time for my business and so far so good!)

For anyone interested in making some extra money on the side, and having an ongoing income you should definitely join Amway!

But know that it takes time and determination like anything in life.

I am glad it worked for you...

My only concern is it makes you into a vulture...looking for innocent preys,who are not fit for that model...Also I have seen a lot of friends shying away when I say "I am not interested in joining their org.."

As long as you don't pester everyone you see outside and learn to keep friendships and your business separate...noone will have any complaints...

That is my take on it...

 

There are lots of issues with the Amway/Alticor/Quixtar model. Even my suggestion is folks have to be wary of this.

 

Nanemo... I think the success stories like your friend's are far and few in this kind of marketing!

I agree with you. Not everyone is successful with this kind of network marketing schemes and more often than not, with the kind of pestering some recruiters do, it does seem like a scam!

I know many of the Indian students in my university got into Quixtar with the hopes of making money and most of them failed to do what they came here to do in the first place and flunking their graduate courses. So it is indeed better to beware!

 

Amway was at the height of controversy here in USA perhaps 30 years ago for its pyramid approach to selling. A few made a lot, a lot made nothing for lots of work. After that time, Amway was pretty much in disgrace and fell out of the limelight. I was surprised to see people talking about it in India....new victims. The products are not bad (some of the soaps I really like) but it is so high priced.

The old adage: If it's too good to be true, it isn't (true).

 

And they change their name so they can hide

 

Now in Indian stores :rotfl . I know a person who followed my behind trying to be friends in an Indian Grocery store and he followed me to my home, I welcomed him in and knwo what...he scooped my brain for about 2 hrs doign some block diagrams despite me saying am a bad fit for these kinda jobs. Thats all fine, chal hota hain...but what I did not like about 'him' is - At the end - he thinks he wasted his time and puts up a sad n angry face. For what? That is absolutely not the kind of attitude expected from a marketing agent.

 

Fortunately I have not been bothered by Amway types much. There was one incident though. A single Indian (Tamil) girl joined our group at work. I felt that it she might be isolated in our town and went out of my way to be nice to her, even introducing a couple of single Tamil guys. She stopped at my desk one time and said that she needed to talk to me in private. When we went to a conference room, she tried to recruit me to Amway/Quixstar or some such nonsense. I stormed out of the conference room and never talked to her after that.

 

hahaha I can see you storming out :rotflwithout ny word upon the utterance of the owrd pyramid model...leaviong the girl wondering ...hey whats tha matter ...funny.

Its not about the company or anything, its those 'agents' that do not know the simplest and most fundamental things about marekting.
