Alarming silk cotton

i had an alarming experience at a domestic airport in u.s.i was wearing a silkcotton saree with jari border.when i was crossing the security channel the alarming sound was heard.the security person asked a women security to do the routine check up.she asked me whether i am having pace maker or i have undergone any surgery .i was worried for a few seconds and suddenly i remembered an article written by menu chellam maami in avalvikatan that she had the same problem in u.s and adviced our indian ladies not to wear silkcotton sari while they travel by flights.i explained to the security lady about the metal in the jari and that was the reason for the sound peep peep.she was convinced and gave a pleasant smile.i wear only cotton sari during my travel.my thanks to chellam maami.
