Pune got hundreds of good schools - very near to kharadi ( app. 5-8kms) AND almost all school buses are coming to Kharadi and good schools around this area are PAWAR PUBLIC SCHOOL - near opp MAGARPATTA CITY. in amanora paork town ( Hadapsar) ICSE SYLLABUS - NOMINAL fee AND VERY NICE SCHOOL - lot of kids from my society are going to this school ORBIS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL - got upto 5th grade only - Fees are little on higher side PRODIGY PUBLIC SCHOOL - Wagholi - lot of kids are going to this school from my society , heard it is good The Lexicon International School Manipal school - inside Magarpatta St.Helena's ,- Koregaon park And Other famous and best schools are St.Mary's, Bishops, DPS ( Delhi Public school) List is not ending, and some schools have till 12th asome have only till 5th or 8th, so tell me about your child details And, admissions must be over, since, almost one term is over, but you can try on CORPORATE QUOTA or TRANSFER QUOTA, GOOGLE all details about schools , call them and speak to them directly to know about admission details , any entrance test there etc Wishing you ALL THE BEST Please feel free to ask anything, will try to help my level best
Hi Lata Murali Its nice to hear that you are in pune. MY hubby has got transferred to pune. His office is in Magarpatta city. So, we are planning to shift to that area. I will be quite new to the city. Could you please kindly clarify me on the following 1. About school admission. Through web i understand that there are three schools in magarpatta city itself. 1. Manipal school, amanora 2. Pawar public school 3. Magarpatta public school Could you please kindly let me know your feedback about these schools. My son would be in 1st std next june. What would be the fee structure in these schools. I am not looking for the hi- fi schools. Please let me know when the application forms will be issued in these schools and when will the admission start for 1st std Please...Please help me out, as we are in sheer tension for the admission Only based on the school admission, we need to look out for the house Request your reply please... Hi Sorry i just saw your post and replying immediately Magarpatta City is a 1st Township in India and its a wonderful place to stay , its well developed city with all infrastructure and in another 6 months time BIG MALLS will be opened there and now, there isa place called DESTINATION CENTRE where you get everything and NOBLE HOSPITAL one of the big hospital is there next to MC Regarding ADMISSION All the schools have their own websites, go through them , you will get necessary information PPS ( pawar public school) one of my friend also looking for her daughter to admit in 1st std, it seems admissions are over and you can retry in april end or May 2011 you will be given seats in case of any withdrawl from the school ( better you call and talk to them personally explain your situation )....my son is studying in PPS only, and annual fee is 30000/- , iam satisifed with the school MANIPAL SCHOOL AMANORA- Heard there are seats, so hope you will get , but call them immediately and talk to them in detail I dont know anything about MAGARPATTA CITY SCHOOL - will enquire and let you know Dont delay, call them tomorrow itself and know the present status Feel free to ask anything
Hi Lata murali, Thanks a lot for your reply. I have spoken to pawar , who told us bluntly that there are no vacancies available for i std . Understand that as per the govt rules, 25% of the seats are being alloted for under privileged children. Even, Magarpatta public school informed us the same. Both came with the same issue and informed us to contact by first week of May. Can you tell me about the prodigy public school, Vatsalya school and RIMS Cbse school. As i will be quite new to pune, donot understand which would be nearer and so. My hubby's office will be in Hadapsar byepass road, Magarpatta. Please let me know which would be the right place for residential purpose. If we look out a residence in Hadapsar, what would be the distance from hadapsar to Undri , Wagholi etc. Could you please help me out in this regard. Hi Jaya Hearty welcome to Pune sorry i missed seeing this post...... Every school have their own plus and minus.... How old is your child..??..where do you plan to stay ? PAWAR - ICSE - got upto 12th .... I like PPS very much, my son is there in 9th grade and i have my neighbour kids in all ages going to this school......fees are very nominal and education is also very good, i mean teaching... Amanora School - got upto 8th , as of now.... is now PEARSONS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.my very close friend son is studying there in 1st grade.she used to say, it is very nice there.....and another friend's kid is in 2nd....she is also happy with the school, teaching etc... ORBIS - lot of kids including my close friends kids are going there....all are happy with the teaching and extra activities..... LEXICON and PRODIGY- same.here....lot of kids from my society are going to both these schools, in all age groups......used to hear various comments about both...... Vikil Patil and aman Setu - have seen the bus .....dont know anything more St.Arnold - no idea... Again, it is you to decide in which school you would like to admit your kid......... My son , from the beginning in ICSE.so here also i admitted him in the same board to avoid unwanted problems in the syllabus......but i vote for CBSE....it is best for Indian education system All CBSE schools have reopened for this academic year.....wil be closing for summer vacation in another 3-4days.... ICSE - PAWAR - closed for higher classes on Friday and for the rest one week earlier and reopens on June 6th for seniors... Hope the above informations are helpful for you.....again go to school website....read everything and call the school personally and clear your doubts...., like , if anything else is there..... Hi there, Very useful forum! Could you please advise about Podar International School Wagholi? Is it good school? We are moving to Pune in June from London, I am looking for school for my daughter (4years). My office is at Hinjewadi but moving to Kharadi in couple of months, so planing to find school near Kharadi. Any suggestion about school, availablity of seats, best location to live in or any additional info for settling there. For House, I am looking for 3BHK - please advise if anyone is renting out.
