Hi latamurali, Thanks for ur info about Good Earth School. Exactly where it is located and Van facility is their? if u have any idea about Vels Vidhyasram and PSBB Millenium school, pl brief on that?
Thanks shanthi for the info. i looked into Good earth and it seems a like a good option but is about 15kms from selaiyur. another ilite also gave some good info about the school. how long do you think travel would take from selaiyur to vels vidyashram/psbb millenium?
hi bagy Traffic in this part of chennai is very heavy. the school from my place which is a 15minutes by twowheeler on bylanes, by bus they leave by 7.35 for a 8.50 school..the principal is very strict. I think from Selaiyur both the schools are at a distance and also brittos is at a distance. Again the long distances will be tasking for your kids...when in a senior class. so look out the best option...or one piece of advice, choose the school and rent a place temporarily for your elder son's sake..by the time he comes out of tenth you will have more options like matriculation or cbse board for the 11th..and then there are lot of schools..and your younger will not have a problem. I think from selaiyur the vel's vidyashram is nearer...(correct me somebody if i am wrong.) and psbb is nearer to cathepara junction... you have to come out through the medavakkam high road to the gst road..... So i feel you can look into the options when you personally judge the distance than our views....
Hi Friends, That's gud v get more info about the schools. But can any one brief me about Vels Vidhyasram and PSBB Millenium school? about the coaching etc? Hi anitha, I dont know much about vels but heard it is good. and thier extra curricular things are ok.. parent teacher meetings are also ok. in psbbmillenium there is no homework that is what i heard that is in the smaller class..and not only psbb lot of schools dont want the parents to teach in the intial years that is lkg,ukg,1st and 2nd..as they use a different method. like a,b,c,d 's are not taught in the regular pattern..they start with a i as it is easiest a child can write..the same with numbers. that is the reason..... hope this clarifies.

Re: Info about Application issue for admission to LKG in DAV and SBOA hi manju, I think all schools give applications for kg by the dec/jan. I think it will easier for you to get admission in dav than sboa. if you have somebody who can push for application and admission you can try sboa. (and also there is a donation..minimum 25k)
Re: Info about Application issue for admission to LKG in DAV and SBOA Hi shanthi, Even I heard SBOA takes donation....Do u know if there is any limitation in the number of applications given out?? I think DAV is strict about the distance from home to school...Any idea about Spartan's new CBSE school??
